Moo and Madead really aren't that different from each other anyway idg why you're all fighting over who's more relevant now since they're both middle aged flops who aren't used by this current generation
One gets a sales surge every single year, so our current generation does hihihi
One also got a Platinum single last year and spent more weeks in the top 20 then the other did on the Hot 100 despite Superbowl promo

So if it sold 50k in Africa (which I'm sure it didn't, just going along with your delusion), and about 250k WW and about 180k in the US... that would mean she sold 20k outside of the US and Africa. Sounds pretty local to me!
The treble in Confessions has this ethereal quality to it that none of Price's other productions have. I mean he has some great songs but none quite reach that level. It's Madonna's hand.

See this is the problem, statements like this make it seem like they are on the same level now when Madonna's last album sold 1.7m copies, produced a single that went Top 10 in 20 countries (mostly thanks to digital sales, which is mostly used by young people...so what does that say about her appeal? ) and produced a 300m grossing tour.
In comparison Mariah's album will be lucky to sell 300k worldwide. She had a moderate hit in the US but only because she basically featured on her own song with a younger, more relevant singer taking the lead on the track.
I will admit any day that "#Beautiful" ***** on anything from MDNA but popularity wise let's NOT get it mixed up.

Born in the USA sold 14 million copies outside of the US and produced multiple worldwide hits including the title track so
The only countries that probably remember our fave's songs the year after are English-Speaking countries.
Y'all stay dragging "local R&B artists" and "Anglophone" countries as if it even matters in a year how any of the singles did in a year. It's trifling as hell.

This is 100% not true at all and I don't really understand where it's even coming from
