Not only is "Guardians" bringing in the least amount of money during Phase 2 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it also won't surpass "X-Men: Days of Future Past." "Thor: The Dark World" grossed $644.8 million worldwide to give you an example of "Guardians" trajectory based on early numbers. "X-Men: Days of Future Past" is at $739.7 million and still going.
