The top 4 are in no particular order, love all those movies. Cabin in the Woods is my second favorite.

I'm surprised many of yall dont like the Exorcist, is such a classic and tbh is not really scary while u watch it but itll make u scared once youre in bed alone and the lights go off.

I would need to sit down and think about all the horror movies I've seen in my life(quite a lot) to know which ones are my faves but the ones I can remember atm.

The Exorcist as a horror stan this deserves the spot, such horror a classic tbh.
The conjuring: really well made, well acted and had a really good storyline as well.
The Descent 1 & 2 were really good and suspenful
Rec 1 & 2 such an underrated franchise #2 is even better than the 1st one.
Insidious I know it gets dragged a lot in here but if only yall knew what happened the following to 2 days to me and my friends after watching it.

The Devil's backbone amazing.
Martyrs this movie is something else

Ahh I'm at work and I'm sure I'm missing quite a few of my favorite ones.

I don't get the love for that movie. I mean, is it because it's so iconic that it's mandatory to love it, despite decades later there are far superior films much more scary than it?

Watching The Grudge or The Ring with the lights on will still scare me more than watching The Exorcist with the lights off.

I only watched it once and never will again but I don't think any horror movie has ever left this much of an emotional impact on me. I kinda felt physcially ill after watching it

it was awesome, more intense and better storyline
can't wait for the next series

Finally watched The Hills Have Eyes a few days ago. It started of pretty stereotypical but got a lot better with time.

Cant wait to watch The Purge Anarchy soon and I should probably watch You're Next also.
