Mariah has an impressive career, there is no need to embarrass her by comparing her to Madonna. Or is this copying mechanism #32 for Me. I Am Meat.... The Insatiable Moo not selling more than MDNA first DAY sales?
Well let's not be too hard on her. She's managed to come back from some low points in her career. Like much of her career in the 90s. I agree with the touring part. People will pay a ticket to see her stretch her paper thin limbs and move her chapped lips to vocals from 1996, act like a ***** in the midst of NYC, but they're not interested in her music. Explains why she had to bundle that album with those tour tickets.
Yes, it's just very clear Madonna is more of a show -- a circus act; rather than a musician. She's with Britney, a circus act who's fun to watch be a mess and only remembered for being a mess and unstable. She won't even be known to the public in 20-30 years. She has no memorable songs, remarkable talent, etc. Her stans just cling to album receipts from album sales through the 1900's as if it's an accomplishment, and nobody will even remember albums in 10 years. All they have is touring, and touring records are constantly demolished. She really has nothing to her name; Mariah on the other hand has the most memorable song of our time (AIWFCIY), a remarkable voice as her talent, and sells digital singles and has more streams -- things the new generation uses. It's ashame, Madonna should've really asked Mariah for help.
Rihanna is global, Brandy isn't.

Rihanna has multiple Grammy's, Brandy doesn't.
Rihanna is cared about in places other than the urban community, Brandy isn't.
