Although I still really dislike the song (for it's lyrics) the video made me like the sound a lot more. And she perfectly used her cartoon-zaniness in a way that was not too cheesy or over the top. I'd say it's her best video of the era yet.
I could almost hear ARTPOP and Do What U Want playing at some point (how incongruent that she shaded Gaga yet she's one of her biggest stans). Whatever, this is just another childish music video from Katy Perry.
