I need Lord to take a page out of Kpop's book and come up with some excellent physical packaging for the album. I feel like one reason album sales are declining is because people don't see value in purchasing music. They are used to it being something free you download online or stream. Selling the album with physical packaging that feels like it's worth something and includes something exclusive instead of some cheap jewel cast that's bound to break will attract buyers who normally don't purchase albums. By doing this, Lord would be able to thrive in a climate where albums struggle.
Something like this is what I have in mind.
You have a very good point!
This packaging is really impressive and creative.
Today, some post mentioned the beautiful cover of LP5, booklet is also very important even though comparing to Ed and Lorde, Taylor's was much better, but it has much more space to improve.
And I think Taylor has an advantage not all the stars have: her beauty!

That album packaging is so creative! But I'm contented with Taylor's album packaging. Her booklets are creative enough, especially Speak Now
But I want her to be creative like this on her Greatest Hits album
FYI, the Ingrid song in the encore Taylor danced onstage for was Afterlife....sounds like a potential hit single for sure....In the context of that song, it actually makes perfect sense for someone to be dancing like no one's watching.
