there better be a version of this without the dubstep. It's a good song, but that crap is sooooo played out that it actually ruins it.
I love what Hyuna did with Red, where the entire song is like verging on dubstep but never quite goes there. It's like the main reason I'm stanning for it so hard.
Winner's show was eons ago, then they finally announce their comeback with some tumblr inspired teaser, then proceed to 'tease' fans with the most BORING set of photo teasers EVER to be released in Kpop,
I agree... it's an amazing song tbh... the dubstep trend is so current AGAIN this year even though it's played out but then again, I don't really mind it.
Good-night Kiss' dubstep breakdown is my fav tho.
Good-night Kiss doesn't have dubstep. That's trap. Dubstep is bass wobbles. Trap is drum focused.

There's something to be learned from not using a played out tacky "drop." It's way more fun to have a cohesive song than something predictable like...build up build up build up, repeating a single vocal syllable, faster and faster, suddenly a ton of poorly produced bass wobbles.
Hyuna her producers did it right. Diplo did it right with "Climax" by Usher. That type of thing.
Some of our favs could never on Yenny's mini. She wrote, composed, went away from the typical standards for the video, etc.
SLÉ YENNYONCE. Her 'Crazy In Love' era delivered as expected. So #BLESSED I have this mini signed.
Nothing Last Forever just slays me over and over, same with Truth.
She incorporated trap AND dubstep correctly. She wasn't overly sexual OR overly cute. The lyrics are very well written and even better, it's all written by her.
Talk about not only stepping out of the mold, but breaking the mutha f-ing machine and shutting it DOWN!
she incorporated dubstep "correctly" but that doesn't make some preset Massive (the program, not the adjective) loops...like...good or interesting. That sound is as played out as it comes. Skrillex literally doesn't even do it anymore.
The comparison pictures
The CSI style detective work...
Netizens do the absolute most

Who cares what Skrillex does or doesn't do
Give me preset loops over SM messes anyday. The sound can't be played out if people are still getting coins for singing over it

Basically, which is why Swing will always be the pits. They were onto something golden already and then that tacky drop hit out of nowhere and it was the epitome of unnecessary.
But then there's like Toy which was executed really well. I guess that stands out because of the strings giving it the whole theatrical touch which works marvels on dubstep to give it some context.
