Aurora is basic and so is the movie (apart from the character of Maleficent).
But what I do love about Sleeping Beauty are the visuals. It's less soft and more stylized than the other Disney movies of its time. Lots of straight lines and sharp edges.
Yes, definitely. It's sound design and use of Tchaikovsky's score is brilliant too.
Aurora is easily the worst of all the Disney Princesses. Ariel is a dumbass too. I found out a few weeks ago that the actual story has her die in the end.
Mulan, Belle, Rapunzel and Cinderella (in that order) are way better.
OMG Ellen Burstyn, Anne Hathaway, and Jessica Chastain in Interstellar? Too bad it isn't a made for TV movie because it would win everything at the Emmys since Burstyn is attached (the Paulson snub still hurts tbh).
Oh, definitely, I was just leaving it to the ladies because them alone is a big enough draw for me. Plus I heard Chastain has a key part (if small) which makes me so so happy. She's so brilliant in The Tree of Life (as is Brad Pitt).
