The fact that the highest ranking female artist on the list is only #26...
That is not to cast aspersions on their methodology or w/e so much as an indication of the shortcomings involved in approaching critical consensus/acclaim as some sort of definitive measure without scrutiny.
Historically and even still it's inevitably been slanted in favor of the interests of straight white guys at any given point in time to the exclusion/detriment of those held by other groups.
