Compared to the giant before it that was "Promiscuous", yes. And I was talking about the Mediabase peak, not the Hot 100 peak, #16, which wasn't too shabby at all. It could've been worse. It could've been a total flop and not have charted at all.

It didn't flop hard compared to "Promiscuous". Yes, it peaked lower but it didn't flop hard. You should know what flops and not based on some of your favorite artists.
"Maneater" peaked at #23 on the Mediabase chart, which is far from flopping HARD. Not to mention "Promiscuous" was still rather high and doing well.
