Womanizer #1 on both Juice TV & MTV!
Britney Spears moves to the top of the Juice TV Chart with Womanizer. Say what you like about the state of her personal life, but Britney (perhaps as a direct result) has never been more popular. The song made a record-breaking jump to #1 on the Billboard Hot100 last week, while the video is fast closing in on 7 million views on YouTube.
From her forthcoming sixth studio album, Womanizer provides Britney Spears with the top spot on this week's MTV playlist. Produced and co-written by Atlanta-based production team The Outsyders, the song recently scored the biggest opening week sales in the US (286,000 units) by a female artist since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking digital downloads in 2003. The video was shot at a Los Angeles nightclub, directed by Joseph Kahn who had previously did the videos for Stronger (2000) and Toxic (2004).
