Yes they're legends, but they're not the most important musicians of all time.

Well The Beatles are relevant for a lot more reasons than their direct impact on the development of rock music; they played a very important or at least widely acknowledged role in the developing world culture during the second half of the 1960s.

There's thousands of artists that made an impact around that time that we'll never know about because the only one people care about are The Beatles.

I always though rock N roll started with blues music ( i could be wrong).. I don't think they are overrated (not their influence on music at least). I've gotten into their music more but I still think they were mediocre musicians who made insanely catchy pop music.
