Of course. We learned about James Brown, The Rolling Stones, Marvin Gaye, Elvis Presley, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong & Aretha Franklin.
I wouldn't know what the hell Sgt. Peppers was if it wasn't for my Middle School Music class. The Beatles are so overrated. Nothing more than a glorified One Direction.
