Brandy is not a legend in any light
You're just complimenting her at this point.
You can't honestly tell yourself that she has actual iconic songs that the GP will know.
You mean the show that was breaking records and doing much better than before Brandy joined?
I can guarantee that Rih's next single will be more global than any Brandy song.

Not as good as it would've been. Rihanna said it herself.
Brandy is a legend in every light lmfao. 20 years in the industry and still slaying.
I'm stating facts.
She does have
actual iconic songs. The Boy Is Mine is iconic (13 weeks at #1), I Wanna Be Down is iconic (#1 R&B single) & Have You Ever is an iconic ballad. The GP might not know them all, but the Urban community (the one she aimed for) knows these songs.
I mean, I grew up seeing Moesha on the TV. I don't know what kinda life you lived or how young you are, but there was a campaign to get Moesha on BET for like 3 years until they finally did it. The show is iconic and the re-runs STILL get played everyday on multiple networks.
More global than any Brandy song? I think you forgot about the absolute MONSTER "The Boy Is Mine." I don't like using tacky ass WW receipts, but

Top 5 in every major market & #8 on Billboard's Decade end list.
Can't Remember to Forget You remains inferior
