I just watched You're Next too and I was actually pretty surprised they started with the tension/suspense moments so early into the movie. Was kinda refreshing.
It got a bit boring at the end but the blender scene had me screaming.
What is this ****? The first half of Oculus was literally perfect but then it went totally downhill. Too much switching between story lines, I didn't even know what was happening. And don't even get me started on the ending, I could punch a wall.

You're Next is easily in my top 3 horror movies ever. It's so disappointing that it flopped because it really sets the standard for home invasion movies.

Finally watched The Purge. What an overrated turd it was. The plot is original and interesting, but the execution is dreadful and the stupid choices the characters make
Though, I heard the sequel is better. Might check it out next week.

The Strangers, Jeepers Creepers, Hills Have Eyes all deserve a spot up there.
Grave Encounters was alright... not really anything special imo.
