I feel like this is my cue to enter the scene, like someone just chanted an ancient deadly ritual and summoned me from the depths of hell.
For starters, what the hell is this "Support a song you dislike purely because you like the artist!!" logic that's starting to float around in this thread? Why would I waste time supporting a song I dislike when the only outcome I get from being successful is encouraging her to release more songs like the one I hate? That's basically a punishment for supporting Katy rather than a reward.
Also, y'all need to stop attacking Walking on Air (Which won it's first battle with Dark Horse, thank you very much) when the vast majority of people who dislike this song would rather Legendary Lovers was the single.
Katy is losing fan support over this single, the lyric video is struggling on YouTube, the song plummeted on iTunes and Radio does not like the track, the only logical move for Katy right now is to can the single release and pretend it was like the time she released a lyric video for Dressin' Up. There's nothing to be gained by pushing this single. Sure, it may still smash, but is the risk at this point really worth the return?
Tell em!
I was ok with the Youtube comments, now I'm scared. The backfire is turning into a Katy hate and the MV is not even out yet.
