Bey has actually got the goods. That's why she's able to work with a variety of people, musicians, musical styles and situations. Bey doesn't have to be staged. Bey can be everywhere and do what she does. I can't see Alicia doing what Bey did at the Oscars and doing so well. It totally made me respect Bey's talent.
I do think prior to BEYONCE, Bey had never had a good album.

And your logic is flawed. The thing about "artists breaking their necks to work with her" just proves Bey's hotter and has more hype.
Since Beyonce has little input in the songwriting and producing process, of course, she'd need more people to work
for her and with her. You see the majority of artists considered most talented don't really need to have tons of collabs to prove their worth.
