[OSEN=이혜린 기자] BIGBANG is holding Japan’s 5 Largest Domes Tour for 2 years in a row, which is a first for foreign artists.
Starting from Nagoya Dome on November 15 and 16, BIGBANG is to kick off “BIGBANG JAPAN DOME TOUR 2014.” They will then move on to Osaka Kyocera Dome from November 20 to 23, to Fukuoka Yahoo Oku Dome on December 6 and 7, to Sapporo Dome on December 20 and to Tokyo Dome on December 26 and 27. In total, they will perform 11 times across 5 cities, joined by 536,000 fans.
For the first time as foreign artists, BIGBANG toured around Japan’s 6 largest domes under the title “BIGBANG JAPAN DOME TOUR 2013-2014” from last November to this January, travelling across Seibu, Kyocera, Yahoo Oku, Nagoya, Tokyo and Sapporo Domes. Performing a total of 16 times across 6 cities, the members heated up the 771,000 fans who joined them.
Their upcoming tour is even more meaningful as they are the first foreign artists to hold 5 largest dome tour 2 years in a row.
BIGBANG’s leader GD commented, “All members are very much looking forward to seeing the Japanese fans again. We will do our best to show you an upgraded performance,” and added, “Join us to make the domes the hottest place in the world.”
Each BIGBANG member has been carrying out his musical career as a solo, too. DAESUNG topped Oricon Daily Ranking with his “D’slove” released on July 15 and held his solo Arena Tour across 8 cities to perform 15 times, while TAEYANG topped 10 global charts with his new album “RISE.” He is scheduled to make a solo debut in Japan on August 13, and will kick off his Japan solo tour from August 12. He will be joined by 70,000 fans across 6 cities performing 13 times in total.
50 Bucks their group album is coming out in October or November.
If Only 1D can do a BIGBANG and have solo activities while still being a group.
!! Agreed, although I am pretty sure the minute one goes solo, the group will end.
The closest thing we could possibly get are solo tracks/"sub-units" on the albums. They somewhat did the sub-unit thing before where only three members got individual lines but that was just a handful of songs on the first album, and didn't really continue that.
Lemme wait for Leigh-Anne from Little Mix to do solo activities instead.
Big Bang's touring power in Japan is increasingly impressive given how little original Japanese music they've actually released as a group. The past couple years they've depended more on remakes of their Korean songs.
YOUR FAVES ALBUM/MINI ALBUM PROMOTIONS MIGHT HALT,
BUT BEAUTY BIBLE IS STILL AROUND AND REIGNING TV RATINGS!
Above is the latest episode of E-Young and Kaeun's bread and butter.
Nillili Mambo, NalinA, and to a much lessor extent Very Good >>>>> Jackpot, Her. It's funny you mention going #1 at 4am when that's what Her does. Are you on to something????
Finally someone that agrees with me. Their older "badass" songs were amazing, how come they changed to this Her mess

I actually think f(x) will do well if they promote as a 4-piece. I hope SM doesn't CSJH them even though I don't like RPPP and Red Light.

Am I the only one or HyunA is resembling Hyori a lot?
I see TTS has some of you pressed, with a lot of success comes a lot of hate.
The only 2NO1 song I use, and I can thank Sunny for that.
The funny part to me is that people only say they want other sub-units because TTS is already popular. If SHY was the original subunit and TTS was annouced as the new sub-unit the reactions would be "WHY? THEY'RE ALREADY POPULAR!?"
Just like now, SHY do no have the vocals to carry a decent sub-unit. They can make songs sure, but it will lack any great singing and the album will have 0 high notes. SM is awful at making hip-hop so even then, it wouldn't be a good album with what SM comes up with when they think of "rap" and "hip-hop".
It's funny how when Jessica get's her OWN reality show, everyone is like "omg yay!" but when TTS get's their own reality show "Why isn't it OT9?"
I'm always amazed when it comes to this. The biggest Kii I got was seeing Jessica stans ask why isn't TTS's show an OT9 show, like dumbass your fav has her OWN show with her sister right now and you're complaining about TTS?
It's like they had saved up all their points from the week and DEMOLISHED them
My queens. Here's to many more deserved victories

It's because it's boring. I'd rather another Mr Mr fiasco than TTS's holiday album. With Christmas in Korea, you already get Taeyeon singing Oh Holy Night on every variety show and SNSD doing Santa Baby with slightly better English than the year before. So I'm really not looking forward to this comeback. I love Seohyun and Taeyeon slays, Tiffany's fine, but they're not gonna fill up the hole left in my stomach from THE BEST & Mr Mr. I guess 2014 is a write off for SNSD. I'll put all my eggs in the new group's basket
Who cares about vocals [constantly] in K-Pop? They're not that inept vocally either. You don't need to be Mariah Carey to slay. Now if SHY were a group from here on out, that would be a problem, but as a side project once in a while? They'll survive without a choir and a G5 belt. I'm not saying they should do hip hop, but definitely a stronger concept would be a nice change to the SNSD brand. I know it will never happen, but like I said, it would be a welcome change.
