I didn't like blue Valentine that much but I see the comparisons. The "Requiem for a dream" homage is too good though.

How on Earth will FSoG flop? Even if it's panned, the hype alone will give it a huge opening weekend.
It's also a well-known brand/franchise by now. Beyonce is just adding more to the hype.
