& how do you and everyone else in YTT do weekly Top 40's? How do y'all even listen to 40 songs each numerous throughout a week.

40 songs in a week isn't that much. But my chart is not completely based on plays, it's just how I currently feel about the songs.

Some people want their chart to be more like a "real" one so they have songs climb slowly to their peak. But I'm not like that, if a song is immediately my favorite, it will debut at #1.

I just use last.fm top plays this week for songs released in the past 6 months. But if I change to Top 20 I'll use last.fm top plays over the past month and songs will have more longevity but take way longer to make imapct.

You should do an alberm chart. Mariah is at 3.9 mil on mine, coming for that 4x Platinum in 2 months.
