Remember that Wall Posts are often not warned. They need to be more extreme than regular posts to be warned, otherwise we generally suggest to put the other person on your ignore list.

Would you consider a racist nickname ''extreme''?

I just think it's weird that on the forum you're very limited when it comes to nicknames etcetera but via wall posts it's generally ''accepted''?

That mostly has to do with the flow of a thread. Posts in a thread are more likely to completely derail or kill a thread.
Wall posts are also a little more private than a thread.


I don't know if that would be extreme, as I have no idea what the nickname in question is and what the context is. If you are questioning if it's extreme enough to report it, chances are that it's not.

How many WPs is "not a lot", we need some kind of official statement to inform the rest of the forums that requested bans are still possible.

I don't think we really decided yet, but around 5-6 WP's seems to be the cutoff point.

If you do have a lot of WP's, we only allow you to request a ban of at least a month.

It depends on how many Base threads you have already and if it's about an artist worth having a Base thread. Generally people either ask us if a Base thread is allowed or they create a thread and wait to see if it'll be closed.

How many WPs is a lot? I have 4/6 WPs (probably six) but most of them are from a while ago and I'm not messy, if I requested a ban until Tuesday (HM&R) it would be to stop myself from constantly refreshing that page, it would have nothing to do with avoiding a ban.

I don't got the logic either, you get banned either way if you do that

Most people request a ban for only a few days as they know half of their WP's would be expired by then. Being banned also stops them from being warned even more.

Eventually when we got wind of this, many started requested longer bans (a few months or so) but requested these bans to be lifted early when their WP's were expired.
So we ended up having to scrap short requested bans for members with high WP's altogether.
