Criminal is a masterpiece. And the promo performances wouldn't have been so embarrassing if it was the lead single because it wouldn't have really included dancing, just a cute outfit and props

Doubling that flop lead. Using basic Math, Criminal would be at 3x platinum had it been lead single.
Oh wait, since it's not going to plummet during it's first month because it's actually Britney's best post-breakdown single and arguably best single ever since BOMT, it would be at 4x platinum by now.

Criminal would flop even harder than HIAM if it was a lead single. It would not receive any AirPlay. It would cause trouble for album sales.

most of the army aren't even streaming Circus and HIAM. Whenever I make threads about it on exhale all i get is responses about how vevo certified videos don't matter. They don't care, it's only a few stans streaming it. And Criminal is always in her top 8 most watched on vevo, Circus is always around 13th and HIAM is in the 20s.
