The Do It Again EP was so pleasant. It got a bit old quickly for me but it's still very good.
I think that the title track may be one of my least favorites, though. It's a sonically "YES" song but it's a bit... average?
That bridge is the saving grace and makes me delete any negative feeling I have, though.
I'm really mad that I love Ultraviolence because Tizzy Grant is an insufferable inbred (at times).
"F**ked My Way Up To The Top" is also really embarrassing and should probably not have been done.
And she'll agree in about a year.
But even after PNP, the music industry is still here waiting for Onika's next move.
Everyone's been waiting for a banger from Nicki (and that was what people had wanted for TPP's lead single), so I have a feeling Anaconda is going to be a different story from PNP entirely. It probably won't be a pop hit (which no one being rational is expecting to do well on that format), but it could gain her a lot of buzz.
She is mad overrated. The only interesting thing she has done is "Papi Pacify" (although I like a few of her songs aside from that). Hell, that "Water Me" video is literally a clone of Bjork's "Hidden Place". Truly embarrassing.

Title track sounds like what dance music is progressing to. It's loud, grinding, and very danceable. It's very future-disco and it avoids sounding dated, for now at least.
I love Pills N Potions, song and video. Ready for Anaconda to deliver just the same.
I don't know what it is about Nicki and her work but for some reason I'm always here for it (even when it's bad).

Monument is wild though
It does fit in with other current dance-tinged Pop songs, I will say. Not sure if that's good or bad.
Certainly it's not "bad" per se, but it's still iffy.
Am I the only one that's tired of the funk/disco revival? Even that "Miracle" song has got hints of it.
Like GO away.
