It's not like he really needs the money I mean what the **** is staying going to give him that his sister hasn't already or can't? It's disrespectful for him to stay there instead of leaving to be with family and stuff during this time. It really shows what's truly important to him by staying but that's just my opinion

The fact is this is what his grandpa wanted. He's respecting his grandfathers wishes and knows this is what he would have wanted him to do.
