Turning down Gravity was still a colossal mistake. Just because Angie is such a massive global star that she can survive any and all bad decisions doesn't mean it wasn't a major fail. She even fired her manager after that
People were posting sketchy articles about Angelina turning down Gravity because she wanted more money and there was all this faux speculation created by the Hollywood Propaganda Machine about how Maleficent was supposedly horrible & was going to flop. I should know to never trust these folks. Jesus had a lot of haters too.
Katy's #s don't add up if you look at the ticket prices. Either Billboard is lazy, Capitol is using payola or Billboard is including VIP packets (which would be unfair since no one else does it). Facts are facts.
"no gimmicks" can be a gimmick though. Like, how Adele presents herself, how she performs, how she and the people around her talk about her work is as much a conscious image decision designed to deliberately entice a certain type of attention and discussion as much as Gaga wearing a meat dress is.
Wow, this is one of the truest and most insightful posts I have ever read on ATRL. Perfectly worded.
