Things I noticed about the radio edit:
-The instrumental is louder on the track, especially on the first verse.
-It seems like she re-recorded the bridge. There are bits that sound a little different. Like in some parts she sounds less enthusiastic.
-There are additional ad libs on the 3rd chorus.
-The echoing on the "bring the beat back" line.

I think the bridge sounds the same and I didn't notice any new adlibes at the end

Besides, the original is radio friendly enough as it is.

Yeah, it's just louder period. That's what stations usually do--compress and limit to the max so you can hear everything, but I think the keyboards are too clipped. I hope they send the album version like they did with "Birthday," too.

I Think the reason that Katy made TIHWD as single before Legendary Lovers is that she want to be nominated on Grammy 2016...she has 2 huge songs for nominations this year Unconditionallly and Dark Horse...for the next year she wants Legendary lovers i thinks this is cool strategy

Could be this + "Legendary Lovers" is more of a fall song
