Nope, you're just doing the usual fan thing of fooling themselves into liking a bad song by their favourite. Don't fall for it, the song always has been and always will be terrible in every single way.
"The song's a grower!11!" when said by a Stan usually means "I played this terrible song on repeat for a few hours and now I can tolerate it!
