Zedd’s new album Serenity and single “Temple” sell out at all Six Flags parks
Six Flags has announced that as of last night, they have no more copies of either Zedd’s album Serenity or its second single “Temple,” which features Lady Gaga, available to sell in their parks. The album and single were on sale in the amusement parks as part of a promotional deal with Zedd. This is attributed to not having enough stock of the single and album as well as extremely high demand. At every Six Flags park upon opening, ride lines were empty as people rushed to grab one of the first copies of Zedd’s latest album. While some people rushed home to listen to it, most people decided to stay in the parks to ride a few roller coasters and other rides. Sunday was actually the biggest day for attendance this year at any Six Flags park, even beating out the Fourth of July. Every ride at every park had at least a 30 minute ride, with the largest roller coasters having waits of 2, 3, even 4 hours or more!
“We underestimated Zedd’s draw,” said James Reid-Anderson, the CEO of Six Flags Entertainment Corporation. “We knew Zedd was popular, but we figured the number of copies we had of the single and album would be enough to last us until next week. We were wrong. By far. We are currently sending a new, larger shipment of the album and single to every park and are dedicating a store to Zedd merchandise in each of our larger parks and a stand at each of our smaller parks. So, if you haven’t bought Zedd’s new album or current single yet, go to a Six Flags park on Tuesday and get it!
Zedd is about to announce a world tour that starts with the first leg going through every Six Flags park. After that, the focus will be on arenas and stadiums for the second leg and beyond. Marina and the Diamonds’ world tour, which Zedd opens on, will occur in the middle of the Six Flags shows, which begin on Tuesday. Marina’s tour begins on Monday, July 28th. Zedd hopes to see his fans at both his and Marina’s shows! Don’t forget to buy Serenity and “Temple” at your local Six Flags park! If you prefer, both are available at retail and digital stores everywhere.
