While she can be more annoying, Perez has PDLM-level hate for Gaga. It's scary at times and makes him ever the hypocrite... but it's also made me never visit his site and from what I hear it's tanking now so go Gagz hate I guess!

But Perez would say the **** he says to Gaga's face. I totally believe he would. It doesn't make it any better, but if Gaga went on Wendy's show, Wendy would apologise and say she didn't understand or didn't realise how lovely she was or whatever.
She'd crawl so far up Gaga's ass that her Walmart weave and watermelon fake **** would completely dissappear. A true reverse-Warholian experience.
Anyway, as you can probably tell from my delirious posts, it's 1am here and I have to be up in 5 hours Night guys

Wendy Williams was annoying, but in every episode of her shows where she criticizes Gaga, she always says nice things about her.
She said she was a lovely girl that needed to focus more on the music to make great music again (did she lie tho? not really). I mean, she's kinda rough when she says her opinion, but she doesn't hate Gaga.
She's basically saying what the GP is thinking:
1. Gaga's fashion was a bit too much and ugly (Venus, the disco-look).
2. She needs to focus more on the music and make great music again than just dress crazy and hoping people will care about her.

Seriously, what were were they thinking not releasing Partynauseous? It was gonna be released on the same day as the 2012 VMA's, and it would have completely overshadowed it. (Granted, the ratings were some of the lowest ever for the award show, but my point still stands.) It probably would have been another hit in her catalog and would have provided actual musical fodder to feed the hype machine for ARTPOP. I predict that both Applause and ARTPOP would have debuted with at least 300,000+ copies had Partynauseous been released and had it smashed. (I think it would have.)

It's discounted to $7.99 on iTunes and the Ellen interview must've helped too

Today in the car, while listening to ARTPOP, I realized that the album would have been a juggernaut in terms of success if released in place of Born This Way in 2011. It seriously could have spawned numerous #1's, and I could honestly see it mirroring Teenage Dream in terms of single success and radio support. I love Born This Way dearly, I truly do - my favorite song of all time is on it for goodness sake - but I feel that 'fun' songs like those found on ARTPOP were what most people wanted from Gaga in 2011.

OMG met a real life Judas stan irl at my Store, I even sent him the instrumental. So cool. Just need to meet a Marry The Night stan in person (I already know several Dope stans, many thinking it is one of her few "real" songs)!

She probably wanted to use her popularity back then to make a change and spread the message of acceptance. But this is true, she could've released ARTPOP back then and it would've been a massive smash because of how fun the music is.
I could only imagine how big Aura would've been as the lead single since it was gonna be the Telephone continuation.

The album does sound straight out of 2011 so I can somewhat agree. With Born This Way some fans were saying the album should have been released later down the road because it was too risky, while ARTPOP should have been released in 2011 because it is very two thousand and fun. Really shows the progression of her career. ARTPOP in its entirely should not have been released, but some moments on ARTPOP definitely deserved to shine in 2011!

Don't be, that's what they feed on. They're a grown man obsessed with someone they can't stand. They want you to seethe, so don't give them that. Just clock 'em with facts, they hate that.

Her new insta post acknowledges the weight articles. She says she's curvy and proud, and I'm so glad it doesn't bother her. Honestly, I'd much rather her look healthy and feel healthy than force her body into a shape it's not meant to be.
Just looking at the Alejandro video makes me feel really sad for 2010 Gaga. I mean, it's Klein so it works for that video, but she was just unhealthily skinny. Thank God she saw the light (and thank God that Joe opened Joanne's, cause that's probably the reason she has gained weight. Who wouldn't?!)
|
I think it does bother her. As someone who survived an eating disorder, she will probably always be bothered by people calling her fat and whatnot. Her "I don't care" attitude is probably more for the fans and to inspire people.

I know I basically just said that ARTPOP should have been released in 2011, but on the flip side, this is the reason I'm happy it wasn't. She really is a saint for risking a good portion of her career for the potential of making a difference. Of course, it paid off with the successes of the era, but many say it's the reason her next era, ARTPOP, was a step down commercially. I'm sure she knew the risks, and for her to still pull through and do it is extremely praiseworthy.

Don't worry about Gaga being attacked over her weight. That's what the media falls back on when they have nothing else to criticize. It means they just want something to whine about. It's the least of her/our worries, though.
