There's basically 3 types of countdowns:
- Ones where you pick what songs you feel go in what positions for that week (but trying to keep it consistent, but some do flashback songs or a mix of current and old)
- Ones where you just take your last.fm stats (this is starting to become more common)
- Ones where you have a list of songs and people vote for the best ones in a poll or in the thread, and that forms the top 10/20/whatever (request countdowns, but these are more rare)
