PRISM is the second best-selling female album of 2014, only behind Beyoncé. It sold more than Artpop, more than Bangerz, more than Unapologetic, etc and it will catch up to Beyoncé's sales in the coming months. Stop saying it "only" sold 3 million when its very rare to sell that much in the current sales climate especially when you're a woman. The album produced two #1s which is more #1s than the Beyonce, Artpop, Bangerz, Stars Dance, Demi, 4, Midnight Memories, Journals, and Believe eras combined.
Katy as an artist just doesn't have much impact without her Radio Disney arsenal of tunes. All of the "Female MJ" talk was unfounded and undeserved. She makes cute pop jingles but nobody is going to be looking back on her in ten years from now as something memorable.
