taylor didn't free fall. Her EP is still charting despite her being on an entirely new single not from the same era. She slaying for someone who's only had one single from the era that charted a week. There's hardly been promo for it anyway .

Part One - The Breakup (The X Factor US) (500+)
Ellie recently announced that she will tell a story through a four
part performance that's starting on The X Factor. Watch The Breakup here:
The stage was dimly lit, only the top half was visible. At the back, a
light was shining on a screen. Two shadows appeared on the screen, it
was a man and a woman, you could tell by their voices. The man started
speaking, "I'm leaving, I'm much happier with Gina than I am with you.
You don't even have time for me any more, Gina gives me all her time,
she even cooks and clean the house."
"Get out of here, I don't want to see you again." said the woman, she
sounded a lot like Ellie Goulding.
The stage went completely dark and a moon went up, a few seconds later it
went down and the sun came up instead. The top half of the stage was lit up
again. It showed Ellie Goulding getting out of bed. She started singing her
new single Asleep as the instrumental was played through large speakers. She
was dressed in blue and white pyjamas.

Ellie hid behind a wall and a few seconds later she came out, dressed in
yellow shorts, sneakers and a white t-shirt. She walked down the stairs as
the rest of the stage was lit up. There was sand at the bottom of the stairs
and all over the stage. There was a net in the middle and a fake sun on the ceiling.
The chorus began and seven people that looked like Ellie's friends came onto
the stage, one of them had a ball in her hand. They started playing volleyball
and Ellie was shown having a good time despite the break up. They played for half
a minute and Ellie stopped singing before the second chorus, the instrumental was
played in a loop as a friend passed her the ball. She almost missed but somehow
managed to score, her team looked happy and the opposite team looked disappointed.

Ellie continued singing as they all went back upstairs and into her bedroom. Four of
the male friends left and the three female friends stayed. They all changed (except
for Ellie) into different clothes behind a wall so that the viewers didn't see. The
instrumental was played during the bridge while Ellie changed. She finished just
in time for the final chorus and came out looking stunning. The audience was shocked
by her beauty. Ellie had a black dress on that almost went down to her knees, black
high heels, a golden necklace and ruby earrings. Her blonde hair was shining and she
didn't have much makeup on. She took the mic off her head and finished the performance
at a microphone stand. She got to show off her powerful vocal and wow the audience.

The story will continue on American Idol, where Ellie will perform the second part (The
Begging) in a few hour. Stay tuned for the performance. The third and fourth part will
come tomorrow. Don't forget to buy Ellie's Top 10 single Asleep on iTunes!

MAIN iTUNES BANNER
After locking in the main iTunes banner for two weeks now, and gaining countries each week - Danity Kane has finally built the momentum to unleash their EP in a very marketable fashion. For the third consecutive week, Danity Kane has stuck a deal with Apple to snatch the main banner on iTunes. But it's not in sixty countries, and definitely not seventy either. It's in one-hundred and thirteen countries. They are as follows: Italy, Indonesia, Brazil, Ireland, France, Netherlands, South Africa, Spain, Norway, Belgium, Switzerland, Denmark, Philippines, India, Germany, United Kingdom, New Zealand, Australia, Mexico, Sweden, Canada, Austria, Hong Kong, Japan, Portugal, United States, Turkey, Thailand, Bolivia, Mauritius, Lithuania, Russia, Cyprus, Paraguay, Chile, Latvia, Uzbekistan, Finland, El Salvador, Brunei Darussalam, Malta, Azerbaijan, Namibia, Egypt, Jordan, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Lebanon, Uganda, United Arab Emirates, Argentina, Israel, Colombia, Czech Republic, Qatar, Malaysia, Peru, Slovenia, Kazakhstan, Slovakia, Singapore, Estonia, Kenya, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Ecuador, Honduras, Trinidad and Tobago, Luxembourg, Ukraine, Taiwan, Costa Rica, Sri Lanka, Greece, Tajikistan, Poland, Oman, Guatemala, Panama, Saudi Arabia, Hungary, Dominican Republic, Cape Verde, British Virgin Islands, Belarus, Papua New Guinea, Bahrain, Moldova, Botswana, Vietnam, Romania, Burkina Faso, Kyrgyzstan, Nepal, Fiji, Laos, Bulgaria, Nigeria, Barbados, Swaziland, Venezuela, Nicaragua, Grenada, Mongolia, Macau, Turkmenistan, Belize, Antigua and Barbuda, Armenia, Cayman Islands, Ghana, Anguilla, Bermuda and Cambodia. Because of this main banner, Danity Kane's EP has charted in the Top Ten in all of the countries listed above. Coming back from an extremely disappointing week despite good promotion, Danity Kane are truly taking no prisoners as they are looking to claim their third #1 album-esque release and extend their record as the first girl group to have not two like they normally do, but there #1 album/EP releases. Their single "Lemonade" is still charting in the Top 40 in almost all of these countries, as "Rage" is finally starting to get up on the charts a bit - lurking in the Top 200 in all these countries. With a big week ahead, Danity Kane could possibly pull one of the biggest chart comebacks of the season. With Revolution Records scrambling, the pressure is truly on to deliver an amazing sales figure. You can purchase 'DK3' today at the cute price of $2.99 - which may be $1.79, $2.00 or $2.30 depending on when and if you purchased "Lemonade" and you can also purchase their second single "Rage".

Part Two - The Begging (Americal Idol)
Ellie continued the four part story at American Idol on Monday. This
part is called The Begging. The next two parts will be performed live
tomorrow on America's Got Talent and The Voice!
Ellie was dressed in the same clothes that she wore on The X Factor, a
black dress, black high heels, a golden necklace and ruby earrings.
Again, only the top part of the stage was visible. It showed Ellie and
her three friends in a bedroom that looked identical to the bedroom on
the X Factor. They walked down the stars and Ellie whistled, she called
out "Taxi". A taxi was show driving on a large screen behind them.
There was a sudden sound of lightning and the stage went dark. The only
thing visible was the screen that now displayed a grey cloud and lightning.
The sound of a wave hitting against rocks was now heard, the stage lit up
and the screen showed a beach with big waves. The stage was completely
different now. It had a bar to the left and a dancefloor in the center
with a disco ball hanging above it. You could hear wind this time and the
lights were turned off once more. Footsteps were heard on the stage and
five second later, Asleep started playing.

Red lights made the stage bright. The bar was full of drinks now and there
was a bartender serving drinks there. There were twenty three people at the dancefloor.
Ellie was standing on top of the bad with a mic around her head. She started
singing Asleep and dancing and the bar. She skipped one line as the bartender
handed her and drink. She drank it quickly and kept on singing.

When the chorus started, six people from the dancefloor came towards the bar.
They all interlocked their fingers as if they were going to lift someone up.
Ellie made her way to the dancefloor by walking on the people's hands.
It was obvious that they were professionals because normal people wouldn't
be able to lift someone up like that. She danced with her friends during the
chorus and sat at the bar at the second verse. She saw her ex-boyfriend
entering from the side of the stage. She slowly made her way over to him
but first she had get through the dancefloor. The bridge came and the instrumental
was playing quietly. "I need you back, please, losing you was the biggest mistake
I've ever made." he said. Ellie quickly replied "I'm the best thing you'll never
have."
He exited the stage and Ellie sang the final chorus. She was partying with her
friends and having a much better time than he was. The high notes this time were
even better than on The X Factor.

So far, these performances have received critical acclaim and are praised for its
creativity and for Ellie's vocals. Many say that it can change the way popstars
perform on stage.

Zendaya opens up about VMAs snub
During her lates radio interview with BBC Radio 1, Zendaya was asked how she feels about being snubbed, because even if her lead single "Gunshots" was a huge hit and it went number one, and even if it had an amazing and really creative music video, it wasn't nominated for any category. Although Zendaya tried to dodge that question by answering that question with subtle shade, they still re-asked her about it and Zendaya had no choice, but just answer what they actually wanted to hear. Besides bringing up her MTV's Video Music Awards snub, the interviewer was also really rude to Zendaya as they talked about other things as well, and he also asked her about her dating life and the guy that she was kissing on the beach a few weeks ago. After Zendaya answered a few questions, and when she warned the interviewer to change the topic when he started to talk about Zendaya and her love life, she just got too annoyed and hung up the call. Of course, that made that interviewer and radio talk show host really mad, and after their interview over the phone was over, he said a lot of bad things about Zendaya, calling her an adult-wannabe and he also said that Zendaya's music is getting worse and worse. Zendaya didn't comment on why she decided to hung up during that phone call, but it was pretty obvious that she felt offended by that interviewer, and that is why a lot of people started tweeting BBC Radio 1 Twitter a really mean and defensive tweets.
Interviewer: So on the phone, we have an urban rhythmic singer from US - Zendaya! Few weeks ago, she released her single "Gunshots", which immediately became a huge hit all around the world. Now, she is promoting her newly released single "Lost In Rehab", which promises yet another huge hit for Zendaya. So, Zendaya, how did you feel when you realized you've been snubbed? Since "Gunshots" isn't nominated for any category for Video Music Award.
Zendaya: Um, of course, I feel a little bit sad over this thing, because me and Taylor really worked hard on this music video, we directed it, she wrote the plot, we edited it together, we came up with all of the things and details and ideas... We chose the colors, the outfits, the hairstyles, the makeup, the place, we chose actors, actresses, we basically did everything on our own. And I honestly thought it was an amazing video, but it seems like it's not that amazing now. I don't know, I feel somehow devasted, but I'm over it now, I had a bigger meltdown this morning when I saw the nominations, but now I'm cool with everything, I wish everyone luck.
Interviewer: You're going to attend the show though? Or are you mad?
Zendaya: What kind of question this is... Of course I'll be attending the show! If I'm not nominated for any award, that doesn't mean that I have to be mad for that and not even attend the show. I also want to support my friends as well, I want to be there for Taylor, I want to be there for Paige, Azealia, Rita, Charli. I want to be there to support them and cheer for them. And as I said before, I'm over it now, I was a bit mad earlier today, when the nominations were announced, but now I'm all fine with it, I'm just going to lift my chin even higher now, and I'll work my ass off.
Interviewer: You have a new single out at the moment. What's it called?
Zendaya: It's called "Lost In Rehab", and that song really means a lot to me, because it's based on my friend's story, how he had a lot of problems, how he tried to forget those problems by drinking alcohol and using drugs, and then his parents basically locked him in a rehab, a place where you should get better, but his issues just went worse. This is a very serious song, about serious and real problems, but I just felt the need to release it as a single.
Interviewer: A few weeks ago, you were spotted making out with this guy on the...
Zendaya: Stop. I told you before the actual interview that I will not answer any questions about my love life. You can ask me anything about my music or upcoming album or whatever, but no questions about my love life.
Interviewer: Sorry, we can't skip questions.
Zendaya: But I can always press "hang up" button, though.
Interviewer: Why you can't answer my question? It's not like it's that serious.
Zendaya: It is, actually, serious, and that's too personal. Besides, don't forget the fact that I actually told you before the interview to not ask any questions about my love and dating life. But whatever. Goodbye.
Interviewer: What do you mean goodbye? Hello? Zendaya? Well, she just hang up... She used to be such a down-to-earth girl, now she's all trying to be grown up and cool. Anyways... We're now playing Zendaya's latest single "Lost In Rehab" on BBC Radio 1!

How are you gonna fume when you're still nominated for big categories? And what's gonna make people want to vote you in them now?

GQ Magazine Interviews Mariah Carey

Pop History tells of Mariah Carey's River Deep, Mountain High. In Mariah Carey's world everything was always gigantic: she had the biggest hits (Without You & Fantasy) back in the 90s, the most unbelievable flops (Glitter & Charmbracelet) back in the early 2000s as well as suffering the most catastrophic nervous breakdown in the show business. For more than one year she was overtaken by that life, before coming back like a phoenix from the dead with her album "The Emancipation Of Mimi". Although the album brought her back to the top back in 2005, her last three albums (E=MC^2, Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel & Me I Am Mariah...The Elusive Chanteuse) have failed to emulate the success "The Emancipation Of Mimi" had although the albums was great in terms of its quality.
And now she is back, and radiating again on the upper regions of the charts with her latest album, "The Stygian Chevalier". Already having two singles peaking in the Top 3 ("Libidinous Dream" at #2 and "The Stygian Chevalier" at #3), Mariah Carey shows no sign of slowing down. Although her album "The Stygian Chevalier" has only reached a peak of #3, it is currently the best selling album of this season's of CAL with a total sales of 854,000 copies sold beating the likes of Taylor's "Coven 13" EP and Azealia Banks "Reborn" who in turn dominates the singles chart.
For GQ, she placed herself before the camera of the photographer Richard McLaren, where she represented the history of the Pop Music. Decade for decade, float for float, feeling for feeling. The critics and haters who bashed her, will realize : Mariah Carey is again at the top of Pop even after 24 years in the music industry and never give up easily. Interviewed in Mariah's NYC apartment, Mariah gives an insight on her breakdown back in 2002, praises her Record label and lastly she talks about her latest success from her latest album, "The Stygian Chevalier". Highlights of the interview between Mariah and Richard McLaren can be found below:
__________________________________________________ ________________________
Q: Ms. Carey, I am honoured, to speak with you. I am a big fan.
MC: Thank You, I'm very glad to hear that. I'm happy to be here as well.
Q: I admit however: Many of my friends dislike your music, respectively, because it's too cheesy. I always tell them "What is a disadvantage about expressing your feelings?"
MC: Naturally nothing - The soul is always concerned with feelings.
Q: Nevertheless, they, and I still think you have the best voice in the world.
MC: You are very kind to me. How do your friends react when you support me like this.
Q: They say, I should also dislike your music, but I never would.
MC: Ha! I really don't believe that you can convince these boys to like my music.
Q: What must you do, to sound like you do ?
MC: I only can take two days to relax and rest my voice, between work. Also, it is important to eat healthy, get enough sleep… and best not to give any interviews. Being a singer is a very hard job, you must discipline yourself, and only people with a strong will can do that. Since my 18th birthday, I live almost like a competitive athlete. It's really easy to say it out but it is hard to do. I've been there before like most of the people. But the reward is always satisfying in the end, always and that is why I love to be discipline.
Q: Are you constantly enjoying, and partying, as a famous TV quote: "sex and drugs and skirt ’n’ roll" Is that why you had a breakdown?
MC: In the opposite. My Ex-husband Tommy Mottola worried that I functioned my whole life like a machine. I put out my first record at 18, the first number-one-hit at20. Then almost every year an album or a world tour. I wasn't aware of the word 'rest'. Monthly I worked 20 hours in a day. Also, It would happend that I flew within 24 hours from Paris to London to Madrid in order to give interviews or to appear on television. I always had 15 people around me, that always expected too much of me. Believe me: if I had a free minute in my life, I would slept immediately. Now with Camouflage Records, they give me a certain amount of freedom to do what I want. They let me take control on the music and songwriting side of things while they focus on the marketing side of things and I must say they have done a great job in promoting me as an artist, understanding my vision and promoting this album so that it can be exposed to all regions of the world.
Q: You have your lead single already peaking at #2 two week ago, your latest single which is the album title's track, has debuted at #3 and also your album, "The Stygian Chevalier" is currently the best selling album of the season. How did you feel about that ??
MC: I am so glad that our hard work has paid off !! I have to thank God for the success I'm having right now. My prediction is right about my second single, "The Stygian Chevalier" getting a We Belong Together size hit though [Laughs]. And for my album, I love the longevity I'm getting on the charts because most of the time you will see other acts debuting at higher positions but flopping in the end. No shade to the other acts, but I've learned to love longevity and not fighting for those elusive #1 hits I used to have.
Q: You are nominated for three categories in the upcoming Video Music Awards. How did you feel about the nomination you've gotten ?
MC: I've worked hard with Brett on the concept for the videos and I must say I am glad to get nominated for it. I really hope to win at least one award since I've worked very hard on the videos and not get snubbed like my Grammy's incident back in 1996 [sighs].
Q: Now however it, you are known to have a party reputation; and since you joined Camouflage Records label company under contract, you are regularly invited to all the parties, and you are named the rappers "girl". Additionally, it's rumored that you host the best Hip Hop parties of the city in your house. Is that true ?
MC: I know nothing of this. Maybe when I'm not there, haha. No, really, I live in an apartment, how could I ? I can't just fit all my rapper friends into one small area !! I have too many of them [laughs]
Q: Too bad, I though I would stop once.
MC: Unfortunately these parties will not find place in my apartment. Sorry, this rumor is totally false.
Q: Yet more rumors: Have you cheated on Nick Cannon, your husband ?
MC: We are very FAR from the truth, it never happened.
Q:That you are filling a divorce with him.
MC: That is total stupidity. Just because we didn't do our yearly public anniversary vows this year, it still doesn't mean our love has falter for the worst [scoffs]
Q: That you don't usually wear underwear.
MC: That a journalist must be crazy.
Q: Therefore you do wear underwear?
MC: Yes! Of course. I wear totally normal underwear, just as any other women do.
__________________________________________________ ________________________
A photo shoot was done apparently to promote both the single and the album according to insider informations, but it was since scrapped due to some legal problems and such. Rihard McLaren expressed his sadness on Twitter stating that he hopes that the photos done on set would see the light of day in the future and not stay elusive. The hashatg #MClostphotos has since trended on Twitter due to this incident which made both the single and the album rise up the iTunes chart.
