I don't get why they're rushing the video. They should let the song live a little bit.
Well, I'm no longer worried about the quality of the video too much. It will at least have about 3 weeks between filming and being put out, which is about standard. The issue now is that they are releasing it (as of now, this might change) pretty close to the song. The only thing I can think of is if they're looking for maximum impact or they want it out early because Hilary only has August to promote before she starts filming for Younger.

I'm more worried right now about the actual song. I think Hilary fans will love it but the Sheryl Crow/Colbie Caillat direction worries me because I'm not sure how radio will receive it.
The poster doesn't specify world premiere only the event listing on facebook does.
Andre her music manager said it was only going to be a little surprise.
Hilary didn't even acknowledge saying she was going to debut the single, but she said it was going to be an exciting week.
It would only make sense if we heard the song before Thursday, or the day of. Why would the label want a crappy recorded version from the club out there before it's officially released. Doesn't make sense.

Agreed. I think most of the time when Andre says something fans try to look for hidden messages and hints and there aren't any. Andre is not that deep guys.

And there's nothing wrong with that direction. Radio is more diverse than it has been for a while now. A lot of the success for the track on radio will depend on how hard the label pushes it.

Was going to say this. Also, "Hothouse" and "Bat for a Heart" were not only released independently but they were never meant to support full albums. And the Jonas Brothers broke up and decided to not even release their full album.
