The Queen is hardly a ballad for the first 2/3 of the song. Plus it's a bonus track. To recap:

So Godly I Could Slay is top level.
SpeechSlay is a great, raw Gaga ballad.
Dope has the best songwriting on ARTPOP.
The Queen is poor, but it's a bonus track.

I prefer to listen to perhaps her most underrated gem of a performance. But yes, the studio harmonies especially are very electronic-sounding

What do you mean? The video (even though she says it was rushed) was one of the best parts of this era. The only thing that could've been an improvement is if they made the imagery lighter, considering the video was supposed to be the re-introduction of "lighter fun Gaga", but that's not a bid deal.
