Macklemore was a fad. Gone with the wind. His songs will not be "remembered" nor will he ever have one as impactful as The Motto.

Kendrick delivered one of the best rap performances in the last few years and Macklemore delivered one of the most talked about and important rap performance in the last few years.
Meanwhile Drake's VMA performance was laughed at by everyone.
