vocal arrangement isn't credited in songwritting category. the singer credit includes vocal arrangement

for example, "I Will Always Love You " was written by Dolly but Whitney's not credit for songwritting for changing vocal arrangement ( she add a lot of runs, vibrato,melisma, soulful phrasing, her version of IWALY was sung two tones higher than the original one ) bassically, she changed a lot arrangements of the song with her vocal alone.

All those youtube cover singers might as well put their names into the credits of the songs when they sell the their covers on itunes or something.

You don't get writer credit for cover song no matter how much you change it.
But If the original writers agree they give but it's really rare.

There're many more her solo songs but you just decide not to believe it.

Most of dc's survivor album was written by her.
She didn't get slo credit because in urban scene beatmakers, producers takes credit for their productions.

You don't know how to read credit so this will go circle I guess.(most people do even fans)
