Venus is kind of like Bad Romance, but there is something refreshing about it...it's silly/camp and I love it.
GUY sounds like LoveGame as well as 90s boy band music
DWUW yes
Applause unfortunately sounds 2011, specially like Katy Perry's Peacock but with a Just Dance inspired intro.

"Aura" (demo version) was perfect tbh. The lyrics, the screaming in the verses, the production... it all gave me a vibe of chaos, almost like a pop riot. A pop rebellion. A pop revolt. Honestly, it's one of her best songs, and if it was the lead single and things were handled 100% PERFECTLY , it could've been a f**king game changer.
"Venus" is amazing too, and the "when you touch me I die" chorus part serves some of the same "pop revolt" teas, but it feels a bit like it runs too long. Also, the production on the verses is a little too stiff, and the lyrics are meh. And the bridge is messy, and the song has too many parts imo. But it's still a change in the Gaga sound, so it's all good.
I agree that "G.U.Y." sounds like an updated version of "LoveGame", but what it really reminds me of is Britney Spear's "Stronger", if she got the most technologically up-to-date producers to update it's sound for the 2010s decade. The song also serves the same "chaotic pop riot" teas as the last two songs. The only meh part are the lyrics, which are a bit too simple.
"Do What U Want" isn't necessarily a good reinvention for EDM, but it did have Gaga explore new territory for her, and it payed off extremely well critically. It's my 2nd/3rd favorite song by her.
"Applause" is semi-dated, but it's still EDM, and different than her previous material, plus it slays, so.
