Erotica didn't go #1, had 6 singles and failed to sell 2 million in US, only went #1 in 2 countries, and had much backlash too.

The point is, Madonna and other girls have comeback from underperforming eras. It's not that hard with the right image and music again.

ARTPOP still managed to debut with more copies than every Rihanna album with her worst performing Lead Single. Potential is there.

They were collecting humans and that was her method of doing it. The beginning of the film was her getting to Earth - taking over from the last alien - and using this new skin.
