Good god. I couldn't cry too much because there were too many people in the theater and I did not want these people judging me but my eyes welled up a lot several times throughout. I just couldn't help it. Like it's literally one of the most moving movies I've ever seen. Jesus.

Exactly! When the trailers started playing on TV, I was convinced the movie was just going to be another teen summer romance that would get spammed on Tumblr for the rest of the year. To be air though, the commercials didn't really do the movie justice, they made that "you put the thing that kills you between your teeth but never give it the power" scene look a lot more cheesy than it actually was.

I rarely watch sad movies in the theater because I'm terrible at holding back my emotions. My nan took me to see Marley & Me years ago and I was practically screaming.

but agreed, it was quite the emotional roller coaster with a lot of scenes that really stuck with me afterwards.
Every I've talked to seemed to have been really struck by the Hazel's eulogy for Gus, but for some reason that scene didn't hit me as hard as others, Gus' eulogy for Hazel on the other hand.. Lord.

I wanted to see it when it first came out cuz like all my friends were hyping it up for me.
I don't like romance movies either but this one seemed good!

It's REALLY good!

I wonder how long the wait-list for the book is at my library.

How about you just watch a comedy like Sex Tape or something instead? Don't go to the pits and give Michael Bay your cash.

but.. but.. I wanted to see an unnecessarily large amount of explosions.

Maybe A Million Ways To Die In The West, instead? I haven't heard anyone really about it though.
