Charli XCX Performs at The Blonds Fashion Show in NYC
Last week, The Blonds announced Charli XCX as their new face and Charli has been on ads everywhere promoting the fashion brand aswell as in advertisements and commercials. Last night when Charli went back to the US she passed by the The Blonds fashion show, held especially for another presentation of a CHARLI XCX designed collection.
"I had the opportunity to work with The Blonds and do the outfits myself with the help of the head designer, it was an amazing experience... I can't believe I'm going to present it right now!" Charli XCX said when the press started asking questions right before she got into the venue. The fashion show itself, was also aired Live on FashionTV and was livestreamed on Charli XCX's website as well as the Blonds' website.
During the fashion show, Charli performed a whole set of songs while the models arrived on the runway. The first track she performed was an electronic and more 'alien' version of 'SuperLove'. Charli appeared on the stage wearing one of the outfits she created which is a black leotard with neon see through green structure which she stylized with a pair of black leather boots she created for the collection. She appeared between the smoke while the only lights that were there were black lights. The electronic SuperLove instrumental started while Charli danced around mysteriously. The first model appeared at the beginning of the catwalk and Charli started singing. Throughout the show she held hands with some models and danced around them. After 'SuperLove' she sang the True Romance album track 'Grins' which was followed by 'So Far Away'.
After the small True Romance set, she had an outfit change. she was now wearing a bra made out of mirrors and lights with a leather string. She started singing "Divide' before singing the track 'Devour My Heart'. she also sang 'Need you' & 'My Shadow', which was followed by two more True Romance tracks 'You're The One' and 'You (Ha Ha Ha)'.
Another outfit change occured and Charli was now wearing a silver catsuit with diamonds detail and huge diamond encrusted heels. She started singing the promo single 'Tokyo Lights'. During the song, emergency lights were held up all around the stage and the models started wearing the brighter outfits.
The final song performed was 'Alone in the Dark' which was extended to include a modified Brooke Candy Remix. To end the performance after the models were done, Charli simulated falling down and she landed on her face and didn't get back up. Smoke started appearing again while purple and blue lights were all around the runway and Charli disappeared off the stage.

NATALIA KILLS' "KO-MOTION WORLD TOUR" BECOMES FASTEST SELLING TICKETS FOR BARCLAYS CENTER AND UNITED CENTER
She just keeps doing it, doesn't she. Natalia Kills has just broken the record for fastest tickets sold in the Barclays Center, New York and United Center, Chicago (opening night).
The tickets were sold out in 4.30 minutes becoming the fastest sell out EVER in the history of these arenas and in the world when you think about it.
World, we can't verify but that is definitely record time.

Aguilera partners up with the NFL
NFL officials revealed today that Christina Aguilera shall be arranging a full-length business deal with them in order to incite awareness and garner much-needed attention to her 8ths studio album - "Pandora's Box" - which was released just a few days ago. Aguilera's confirmed the rumours so it really is happening. It is said that a promo commercial shall be tied into most of the games, during half time, with a special bumper-pack edition being played when the Super Bowl comes around once again. This shall prove both beneficial to Aguilera herself and the NFL since they would both bring in factors that the other couldn't. Not much is known about the entire escapade, however, a number of credible sources are allegedly reporting that Christina could (in fact) perform the half time show at the upcoming 49th edition of the Super Bowl in 2015 - the Super Bowl XLIX at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, home of the Arizona Cardinals.
In fact, Aguilera has previously had run-ins with the Super Bowl federation. She sparked a lot of controversy during the Super Bowl XLV in the 2011 playoff season due to the fact that she flubbed a couple of lines of the national anthem - The Star Spangled Banner. This momentarily caused Christina to receive an immediate amount of grave backlash, like always. Later on, she issued a straight-up apology. As you may already have predicted, the public reception to these business matters between Aguilera herself and the NFL haven't been too favourable. People are still stuck on the fact that the 'voice of our generation' did screw up The Star Spangled Banner, nevertheless, they do admit that this will be a great investment for both parties. We shall see whether the mixed reactions transition into more positive ones once the actual deal itself is put in place.
Aguilera has already made a lot of endorsement deals with various "big name" companies. The high-end designer brand company Christian Dior has been a long-running partner of Christina Aguilera's empire. They've even upgraded her to a spokesperson position whilst still retaining her previously adored and sought after "face of Dior" role. Her first ever commercial with Christian Dior debuted on television screens just a week ago. It proved very much a positive reaction from the general public and also the social media stratosphere. Aguilera also has a contract deal with Tiffany & Co., which shall tie in with Dior and just a few days ago CoverGirl announced Christina Aguilera as their next CoverGirl. "Easy, breezy, beautiful, CoverGirl". Each of these companies' stock exchange have risen so that should be another great feat for Christina to add onto her resume.

'DANGER' LEAKING NEXT WEEK
It's confirmed! The 2013/Quartet album recorded with Revolution Records will leak next week during their MTV Takeover. The album, titled 'Danger', will leak live on Wednesday, July 23rd while the original five ladies from Danity Kane reunite as well as Day26 and Donnie Klang. All but two tracks, which apparently were collaborations with Little Mix and Nicki Minaj will be available for streaming. A source told us: "The album is so dark, it's so intense. It's literally nothing like Danity Kane has done before and certainly not what they're making now." The track listing stands as:

Just a few hours ago, Christina Aguilera aka @xtina held a Twitter Q&A fest in order to answer all your questions about her 8th studio album - "Pandora's Box" and Aguilera herself. She spilled a lot of juicy deets as to what's next to come from her latest era. Aguilera has already released two singles from the album - "Nighthawks" and "Spitfire" featuring up-and-coming female rapper Azealia Banks, respectively. The entire record is executively produced by world-renowned Hip Hop beatmaker DJ Premier who was also the executive producer of Aguilera's "Back to Basics", overseeing Disc 1, way back when in 2006.
The 'voice of our generation' shared a lot of details about her planned upcoming EPs - Truth Pill & True Soul. It's been confirmed by her that one of these EPs shall be released somewhere during the last leg of her long-awaited worldwide tour for LP "Pandora's Box" whilst the other will typically be released after the tour, followed by a string of scattered intimate concerts. The first EP - "Truth Pill" - will witness Christina delving into a more controversial spirit of what she is. You can expect her to address a lot of the things we've been waiting to here from the one and only; Xtina. Not too much is known about the second EP - "True Soul" - although we can definitely infer from the album title that she'll take a more soulful directed route with this EP, which is a stark contrast to that of "Truth Pill". Kylie Minogue appeared in Late Night with Jimmy Fallon yesterday to promote her new album and talk about her new controversial music video and erotic commercial.
"Your new commercial for your new world tour, it's so sexy that it won't get aired during daytime anymore" said Jimmy, "I know! bummer!" replied Kylie, "But hey - at least that makes you too sexy for TV" [audience laughs], "I guess so, yeah [laughs]" Kylie says. "That lingerie has become an internet meme did you know that?" Jimmy said, "I've seen some photos of people riding the bull ride with a lingerie, yeah [laughs]" Kylie replied, "Let's show the audience, here are some interesting pictures of the lingerie meme" Jimmy said before the audience laugh as he shows 8 photos of men and women wearing a lingerie and riding the bull game. "Why did you go for that sexual commercial?" Jimmy asked, "Well, it being controversial represents the theme of the show so that's why we did it" Kylie replies. "What music have you been listening to, I've been listening to One Direction but you?" Jimmy sarcastically says, "Actually, I've been obsessed with Mariah's new stuff, I think I will be attending one of her tour shows" Minogue confesses, "Yeah I love her new video!" Jimmy says.
"Now, your video is also very very controversial, did you see the petition for it to be taken down?" Jimmy says, "Yes I did, I was kind of surprised of how massive the reaction was, I expected some backlash but not that big, you know, and I honestly think it wasn't offensive, I respect all kinds of cultures but there are a lot of people who take something from other cultures to create art and I think that was I, and the director, were one of those people" Kylie says.
"The tour is very theatrical, well produced and will get your attention. There isn't a moment where you can't take your eyes off of the show, It's intense and entertaining, you have to witness it to really understand what I'm saying" Kylie says about her Distant Days World Tour.
Kylie later took the studio stage to perform a chilled-down version of "Burn," her second single from the new album, "Distant Days." The performances consists of background vocals, guitar, electric pianos and violins with the beat drop replaced with heavy african drums. Minogue did an amazing breathy vocals for this performance and both critics and fans are raving for a studio version.

Vh1 covers Mariah's success
"The Stygian Chevalier" era went off to a rocky start when Mariah "Bianca" Carey appeared on all television channels two weeks ago. She shaded huge popular acts song titles such as Taylor Swift's "Psycho" and Britney Spears' "Deranged" on live television when asked about the chart prediction two weeks ago. Although the matter made the general public break Twitter's record for having the fastest and most tweeted tweets in one second, almost 85% of the post on both Twitter and Facebook were negative. It shows that the public was obviously not there for her at that time. Also due to ageism that is still prevalent in pop culture, Mariah being 44 years old this year is also not helping much. Due to all these factors, "Libidinous Dream" debuted at a low number of #19 on the singles chart two weeks ago. But on the contrary, the disco-trap song "Libidinous Dream" ended up peaking at #2 two weeks later which was last week, being blocked from the top spot by only a small margin of sales. It baffled both critics and music analysts because they had predicted earlier two weeks ago that Mariah would have flopped badly with this lead single since it is not following any current trend and it sounded desperate for a 44 year old.
One can argue the fact that it is catchy. The innovative blend of both R&B and Trap genre were hardly heard of and had little success on the charts till "Libidinous Dream" came along. Also the composition of Mariah's lead single was very different. The verses had a ballad-inspired production mixed with some trap elements in it while the chorus was unmistakably catchy with the minimal productions of disco and trap elements, which has created a new sub-genre ever since its release, called "Disco Trap". Also people can argue the fact that Mariah has always been a trendsetter and not a follower of music trends. She proved herself of being a trendsetter when she released the "Fantasy" remix which features Wu Tang Clan member O.D.B back in 1995. She pioneered the pop rap genre, and is credited to have bring it to mainstream pop culture and also to the top of the charts when others have failed miserably trying. Though Mariah's lead single, "Libidinous Dream" had to fight against upcoming huge popular acts such as Bonnie McKee's "Smile" and Charli XCX "Alone In The Dark" singles at that time, she managed to top them all by ending up at an astonishing high peak of #2, behind Britney's lead single "Gimme Your Best". Another thing that was shocking is that the radios had given their full support this whole era although the public was not fully on her side at first. "Libidinous Dream" managed to out peak every song on the radios chart with an impressive audience impression of 242 million last week although Columbia Records CEO tried to use the payola method to pull down Mariah's "Libidinous Dream" radio plays. Camouflage Records have also never fail in terms of promotion. Mariah was literally everywhere and Mariah's name and face was known worldwide due to huge promotions that features her singles, "Libidinous Dream", "The Stygian Chevalier" and one of her album tracks, "I'm Not Done", which was featured on the Stand Up To Cancer commercial. That commercial that features Mariah and her latest single and album track have been exposed to over 170 countries worldwide.
After the success of "Libidinous Dream", Camouflage Records and Mariah Carey have decided to release her single earlier this week, which is the same title as the album, "The Stygian Chevalier". The second single has been praised by critics for its clever use on the interpolation of Maxwell's 1998 R&B hit, "Fortunate". Critics also said that it is the dark horse of the charts if it is promoted properly on a huge scale. The general public obviously was loving this Alternative-Soul midtempo song with trap elements as the song had fluctuated in the iTunes top 5 ever since its release earlier this week. The demand for physical copies were also very high. The radio was also supporting this song too as Mariah's second single, "The Stygian Chevalier" replaces her lead single to reach #1 on the Alternative Songs chart. The song has already climbed its way up to the top 20 on all formats of the radio charts alone due to the high request demands made by the public.
The R&B genre has been under the carpet for years and success is hardly seen due to the lack of experimentation on the genre itself. But now with Mariah Carey, who decided to take an initiative to make a risky move to experiment by mixing new genres such as Trap and Jazz with R&B, has broken the ageism spell that came upon her. - Vh1

Xtina performs on Chelsea Lately
All smiles were blazen last night in the Chelsea Lately studios as the voice of our generation greeted head honcho Chelsea Handler for the second time in both of their careers. The last time Aguilera had visited was when she went on her promoting schedule for Lotus in 2012 with Max Martin-produced lead single - "Your Body". It suddenly blew up a storm on social media as everybody reacted really well to Christina's often downplayed sense of humour especially when the 'Beautiful' singer is taken so seriously. Having said that, it unfortunately did not reflect on Xtina's career itself since her album back then - "Lotus" - tanked and Christina crawled back into that slump, which was first ignited by the floppage of Aguilera's "Bionic", back in 2010. This reaction to the mother of two was proven to motivate the producers of Chelsea Lately to book Aguilera for another stint on the show, which is a understated and reasonable decision to make. Fortunately, Christina Aguilera did accept.

“Touchin’ Me” remix contest.
 
Today Rihanna and Britney announced a competition for fans. The competition is to make “Touchin’ Me” remix, all fans can find all instrumental and acapella of the song in Brit’s and Rih’s webpages. The contest has already attracted a lot of fans, and there are over 598 remixes already, which is huge. It was announced only a few hours ago and it’s already that popular, it’s amazing, says Britney. We expected some remixes, but we never expected this. We are loving a lot of remixes, but guys putting full song without chancing anything is not a remix, try not to do that okay? Cause I’m not here for this, and neither is Rihanna. The remix contest is sponsored by soundcloud btw.
So far the winning remix is by dj earworm, which is a bit unfair but oh well, he needs coins too, those year end remixes will not earn you for a living, + they get worse every year so yeah. We just btw refreshed the page and now there is 620 remixes, this is growing so fast, how can people do this so fast, we are surprised. There is also Khia remix which is spreading very fast, girl just wanted to join, We Can’t Stop wasn’t enough, she wants more fame, but she’ll have to get more votes to beat earworm, who’s remix is just popping.
The winning remix will get 10000$ both albums from Brit and Rih, single cd, remix ep, and even more.  Barely Political release a parody video of “Touchin’ Me”
Today the famous youtube parody channel “barelypolitical” released a new parody of a famous song. The song they parodied this time is “Touchin’ Me” by Britney and Rihanna in this 4:50 min parody, they do touchin me their own way, of course they keep the concept, just change everything else about it. It’s just a very disgusting, funny, and even controversial parody. The GP is already hating on them, well one side hating, other loving it. Rih and Brit haven’t even seen it tho. But it has over 6 million views in one day, cause it’s very controversial and disgusting.
The video shows to old ladies, yes they picked old ladies to play Rih and Brit. One is fat, other is skinny as hell and her skin is very well you know. The video started just like Brit’s and Rih’s video, these two ladies did everything, just is a way more disgusting way. The scene where Rih and Brit has sx, was done by these tho ladies, and one lady was shown getting a heart attack while having sex. It was just very utterly gross, and you should not see it. It made fun of both ladies, and the way they robbed the bank with socks on their head, it was just wrong. Also they made some things up, like where Brit and Rih drive away the two ladies sit in car and have sex in back seat, and then that man from barely political comes and f**k both of them, and hits their faces with (oop), they say do what u want with our bodies, and he does. The video is glagged by youtube, but not by other particular pages, so if you wanna see it, which I won’t offer you, you can watch it in dailymotion and other pages.
The parody has caused a huge controversy and it’s being shown even on tv. The channel has gotten a lot of unuscribers but also a lot of subscribers so it neither helped the channel, but it also didn’t hurt it. The only good thing it did, is that is gotten touchin’ me on itunes top spot, so thank you barely political

Kylie Minogue just announced the first dates for the North America Leg of the Distant Days World Tour that went on sale this morning. With opening acts Swedish House Mafia, the tour will travel to the United States at the end of October as the first part of the leg.
