Bring Me to Life" is the lead single from Evanescence's debut studio album, Fallen. The song delivers genres from alternative metal to rap rock and gothic metal among others.
According to Lee, "Bring Me to Life" has several meanings and inspirations; its subjects are an incident in a restaurant, open-mindedness, and waking up to the things which are missing in the protagonist's life. Lee later revealed that the song was inspired by her long-time friend and husband Josh Hartzler.
What i love about this song is the rock/metal production and the answer back type of song from the two singers in this song. I really love the rap part accompanied by drums and guitars. The music video is great too  . Amy's vocals were killer in this track.
Evanescence falls flat in the top 10 of the rate and peaking in the 11th position instead.
