Lana is the kind of act you have to see in an intimate venue, like a lounge singer. Her music, voice, stage presence, persona, etc do NOT work in a large setting.

And she's clearly most comfortable in those kinds of settings, which benefits the performance/experience even more.
The problem is that Angelina Jolie is a bad actress. Kristen Stewart as Cleopatra would be perfect casting.
As I've said before, Kristen Stewart is young, strikingly gorgeous, and talented. Our generation's Elizabeth Taylor.

She does kinda give us young Elizabeth Taylor teas I'll give you that, but not when she has one face for every emotion.

The problem is, that she will always be labled with the Twighlight francise, the problem is that she is a terrible communicator with the press, what is a compliment to her acting, because otherwise her career would be dead by now.

That is true but the demand for her is too high to do that.
Her recent US tour was tragic simply because how fast the tickets were sold out.
The fans didn't get the tickets fast enough were forced to pay triple or qudrople of the original price.

I don't understand people who pay to see someone stand there and sing. I would much rather see someone like Britney Spears lipsync and give us some sort of stage spectacle that's worth the money, rather than pay money to see an artist like Lana Del Rey, Adele, Lady Gaga, or Tony Bennett just stand there and sing their boring songs live. How un-stimulating.

Taste is music is in a way subjective and the fact that you think that, for instance, Lana's songs are boring is something that's not necessarily shared by everyone.
For one, I would like to listen to Lana live and would definitely enjoy it because I find her music pretty powerful, despite the fact others often find it boring.

What good is getting noms if you're not going to win, just ask Grammy seat warmer Perry.
This. I never understand why people make a fuss out of the nominations, as if anyone besides the Kats even remembers how many times someone has been nominated for something.

People who truly love music for what it is. they feel it and they song along.
