RITA PERFORMS AT AMERICAN IDOL FINALE

Rita stopped by last night, to perform her two new singles at the finals for American Idol. She wore a black, and revealing skintight jumpsuit with a pair of red Alexander McQueen pumps. Her hair was curly and a bit messy to give her that edgy, rocker-chic look. Her makeup, too, was minimal except for the red lip. She came on just before the winner of that season was to be announced.

The stage started off with dim red lighting and as the throbbing bass of "Fire Starter" got louder, the lights slowly began to flicker. Right as the beat drop, Rita popped up from under the stage and yelled "EVERYBODY JUMP!" She frolicked around, hopping as she move across the stage. There was a huge smile on her face, and one could just feel the joy she got from performing. After the drop, she began singing the verse and crowd clapped along to the beat. As she sang, she played around with her hair and even walked over the judges tables. She climbed on it just as the beat dropped again and she leapt up and down, somehow managing not to fall off.

The song ended, and Rita briefly spoke to the audience about self-empowerment before launching into a vocal-oriented rendition of "Losing Me". The crowd sang along with her as she swayed and pranced about the stage. When she got to the bridge, instead of sining the lyrics she ad-libbed a vocal run. She held out the last note for almost eight seconds, and ended the performance by jumping into the air and landing and the pyrotechnic went off. The audience applauded her and even all four of the judges gave her a standing ovation. She thanked them all and excited the stage.

RITA SPOTTED ARRIVING AT HEATHROW AIRPORT AHEAD OF PERFORMANCE FOR THE QUEEN

Rita was seen arriving at Heathrow Airport (June 16) ahead of the #FREETHENIPPLE convention and her performance at the Queen's Diamond Jubilee tomorrow. She landed after a seven hour flight from NYC and is staying at the Dorchester Hotel.

Charli XCX+RedBull Deal=Commercials, Billboards, new Can

Charli XCX has already endorsed the New York City based fashion house The Blonds and this time she's signed a new deal but this time with the energy drink brand RedBull. The deal includes commercials, billboards and a brand new can with Charli's face on.
"I'm so excited for this deal with RedBull! RedBull always was my favorite energy drink and the commercial we filmed was amazing!" Charli said during the press conference announcing the deal.
The commercials for the brand already started being aired around the world, the first commercial showing Charli all by herself in a dark street while 'Alone in the Dark' is playing, "When I feel alone, or when I need something to bring me back to life... I drink RedBull" she says. Charli is shown drinking redbull and suddenly 'SuperLove' starts playing and suddenly the whole place lights up and Charli starts getting excited and happy again while the whole places transforms and she finds herself partying in Tokyo. She dances around while everyone at the party is drinking RedBull. 'Tokyo Lights' starts playing and Charli keeps on partying. The commercial ends with the camera zooming out of the scene and showing Tokyo lighting up and 'Charli XCX+RedBull' appears on the screen.
Billboards promoting RedBull featuring Charli XCX also have been set up around the world in most of the big cities such as London, Paris, Sydney, Berlin, Tokyo, New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Toronto, Sao Paulo, Moscow, Dubai and more.
Another addition brought by the deal was the introduction of the 'XCXCans' as they are titled. Those are special cans that Charli designed herself with RedBull which also features her face on and which features 'XCX' on them. Those will be replacing the majority of the RedBull cans for the whole month. Discount codes for the 'Devour My Heart' are also on the biggest boxes containing those cans. The codes can be redeemed on iTunes to get a 10% discount off the album.

Charli XCX - Tokyo Lights Tour: Day 4 - Manchester

The 4th date of Charli XCX's so far very succesful 'Tokyo Lights World Tour' was performed at Manchester's Etihad Stadium. Charli didn't change the setlist but the concert brought amazed the concert goers with the impressive light effects, the huge screen and Charli's dance moves as well as voice.
"I can't believe all those people came to see me!" Charli said in the middle of the concert during the emotional song 'Feels'. "Just 2 years ago I used to play in tiny night clubs I can't believe I've sold out a whole stadium! I Love you Manchester thank you for coming to see me." she added.
The critics praised different things: The amazing lights as well as the Charli's vocals and dance moves. They also praised Charli for knowing how to put such an IMPRESSIVE show.
Charli changed her outfits, 7 times throughout the shot and many pieces for the show were custom amde by Roberto Piqueras, The Blonds and many more designers.
The next date of the tour will be performed at Los Angeles' Dodgers Stadium.

Kesha on ABC Breakfast News

Kesha has appeared on Australia’s ABC Breakfast News to perform her new single ‘Beautiful Mess’ and speak about her upcoming album, her relationship and the movie ‘The Fault In Our Stars’.

The 27-year old popstar took the stage to perform ‘Beautiful Mess’ in the studio. Dressed in a pair of white hotpants and a red croptop, Kesha looked like a real queen of pop and the high ponytail finished the look completely.

After her energetic performance Kesha sat down with the presenters to speak about various subjects.

First they spoke about Kesha’s third album, which is yet to be named. Kesha confirmed the release date for the album, which is the 10th of August. The album contains megasmash ‘Beautiful Mess’, as well as second single ‘Exorcism’ and collaborations with Drake, Zedd and Enrique Iglesias.

The album will contain 13 tracks, with the deluxe edition featuring 4 more tracks. Kesha also teased a special fan edition of the album and special editions for several stores, but she couldn’t confirm anything yet.

Kesha’s second single ‘Exorcism’ will be released this Sunday, with heavy promo in Europe lined up to promote the song.

When asked about her relationship Kesha said: “Me and Josh are happy right now. He’s coming to see me next week when I’m in Europe, but we call each other every day, even with the different time zones. It’s hard but we’re both doing the best we can to make it work and enjoy the time we do spend together.”

Kesha also spoke about her favourite movie of the moment, ‘The Fault in Our Stars’.
“I don’t even know how I managed to get through that movie. I cried my eyes out during it all. I wish I didn’t watch it alone, cause I really needed a hug afterwards. The actors are so good and I can’t wait to visit that famous bench in Amsterdam”.

Kesha co-headlines ParkLive in Sydney

Kesha Rose Sebert is on a rose. After her amazing performance on last night’s X Factor and this morning’s ABC Breakfast New, she won’t stop as she co-headlined Sydney’s ParkLive along with acts like Samantha Jade and The Justice Crew.

Kesha performed in front of a packed ParkLive.

Kesha was one of the few non-Australian acts, with only Alexandra Burke and Lady Antebellum being foreigners.

Kesha opened her 5-song set with her hit single ‘Tik Tok’ mashed up with minor hit ‘Crazy Kids’. The rap pop songs mashed flawlessly and Kesha’s stage presence was once again phenomenal.

Kesha then proceeded to perform her most recent hit ‘Beautiful Mess’ and a snippet of her new single ‘Exorcism’. The chorus to ‘Exorcism’ is filled with trap elements and heavy choreography, but the ambiance of the song is very dark.

As Kesha’s last song, she one of her favourite album tracks and fan favourite, ‘Last Goodbye’ from her Warrior album. The song was greeted with a lot of cheers, as Kesha rarely performs the song. After that she thanked the audience for their welcome and welcomed Samantha Jade to the stage, after which she left the stage.

Kesha performs and signs CD’s at Westfields Shopping Mall, Sydney

27-year old pop goddess Kesha held a second Australian album signing today, at Sydney’s Westfields Shopping Mall. The star had performed on ParkLive just an hour ago, but was already looking fresh and classy in her purple gown.

Kesha signed CD's for her fans who had been waiting for hours

Kesha greeted her 100’s of fans in the mall, as she signed their copies of ‘Beautiful Mess’ and thanked them for coming.
After the signing Kesha went on to perform her hit single ‘Beautiful Mess’ acoustically, which sounded phenomenal throughout the mall. It was broadcasted on Syndey’s local radio station and TV channel.

Kesha then proceeded to thank everyone for coming and supporting her. She promised she’d come on tour in Australia real soon again.

After performances in Japan & the UK Charli is back to the US because of her 'Tokyo Lights Tour'. The first performance she made since she landed in the US was at Jimmy Kimmel Live! Well I obviously want the people to buy the album and with such a huge deal I hope it will push my sales enough.

Let's talk about the music. I love this track called 'Divide' on your album.
Thank you, I love Divide as well it's such an amazing song!

When did you work on it?
Well it was one of the tracks I was working during my 'punk' phase of the year like in January. Yeah I wrote it in January. But we recorded it only a month ago, it wasn't supposed to be on the album at first but I changed my mind about a few things concerning the album including the tracklist.

At first you wanted your sophomore album to be more 'punk' why did you change your mind?
Well because I started to feel like I was drifting away too much from what I really wanted. And it felt like I wasn't connecting to my music like I felt when I did 'True Romance'.

Charli then got up and started to sing her Top 5 smash 'Alone in the Dark' wearing a black leather top with a white skirt and boots. She sang while doing the choreography with 6 other dancers 3 guys and 3 girls. During the chorus instead of doing the choreography she simply jumped around and hyped up the crowd and got them up so they would dance as well.
'Alone in the Dark' is now available for purchase and so is Charli XCX's sophomore album 'Devour My Heart'.The XCXCans that Jimmy talked about earlier are also available at any retailer selling energy drinks.

Charli XCX on BBC Radio 1+Signs Radio Deal

Charli XCX passed by BBC Radio 1 while she was still in the UK for a small interview + an acoustic performances session. She talked about multiple subjects such as her love life, her album, the tour and more.

On her album:
'Devour My Heart' is an album that nearly never happened because I had so many different ideas. I wanted to do a Pop/Rock album, a True Romance 2.0 a Punk album... I made so many demos and wrote so many songs before it got to where it is now. I released SuperLove when I still wanted to do 'Devour My Heart', but then my wants changed I started doing Punk demos or even more diffenrent types of songs... I love the final product though and I'm thankful i decided to go that way.

On Her Love Life right Now:
I'm living happily with my boyfriend right now, I can't see him a lot since i'm spending 75% of my time outside the UK right now but yeah, we're in a very nice relation ship, I like that.

On the 'Tokyo Lights World Tour':
It's great to be on tour again, I love touring you know? It's such an amazing experience, flying to so many countries, meeting so many fans... It's nice to be back in the UK and perform here again though.

She then sat down to do an acoustic performances session. She sang different songs from her lats album including 'Alone in the Dark', 'Tokyo Lights', 'SuperLove', 'Divide', 'Wasted (Taste it)' and finally 'Hooked On It (Feat. Sky Ferreira)'.

Charli XCX's label also signed a radio deal. The 5 biggest radios in the UK, US, France, Japan, Australia, Brazil, UAE, Italy and Canada will all play 'Alone in the Dark' on top of each hour and will keep it on power rotation while 'Tokyo Lights' and 'SuperLove' will also be played from time to time. The radio deal will boost the song's airplay.

Last night's show was the hottest event of the night at London. Fans packed the arena, cheering and sining along as Rita Ora, Marina and Charli XCX took to the stage to promote female empowerment. Fans and celebs began arriving. Charli was the first to show up. She came in a Armani suit with a neck plunge revealing her cleavage. Her hair was ruffled and compliment her formal look with rocker attitude. She walked the pink carpet, posing for paparazzi pictures and signing autographs for fans. After a while, she ducked into the VIP lounge to chill pre-show. Next was Marina. She was dressed in a Miu Miu white blouse and a short skirt with knee high socks and a bow in her hair. She looked like a classic english schoolgirl with one twist; her blouse was completely see-through. Marina stole the spotlight from the oner celebs on the carpet with her daring ensemble. She posed for pics, greeted fans and was off the the lounge. Last to show up was Rita. She was dressed in a completely see-through blue Elie Saab dress, with over 4k blue Swarovski crystals. She had cut her hair in an angled bob, and her makeup was dark and fierce. She commanded all heads in the crowd and even amongst the celebs on the pink carpet. She was truly a spectacle. She posed for pictures, talked with some interviews and was off to change for her set.

Charli XCX was first to the stage. Her performance at the #FREETHENIPPLE convention was quite buzzworthy. Charli first appeared on stage along with 4 topless men. She was wearing a red leather string and red pasties. "How you feeling tonight London?" she screamed. After the crowd cheered, she started to sing. She started by singing an energetic performance of 'Tokyo Lights' screaming the lyrics into the mic while the guys formed an arc behind her. She performed a few sets of songs from the album including 'Wasted (Taste It)', ''SuperLove' and 'Divide'. She also sang an impressive performance of 'Out of My Control' while doing a choreography which involved her acting as a queen and having the guys be her 'servants'. She than sang 'Alone in the Dark'. Her vocals were on point and the 5 topless guy were her dancers. She did a few erotic moves before removing the pasties off her chest and screaming: "Where's the difference?" and pointing at her nipples and the nipples of the guys. "There's nothing wrong with wanting to be free and to be able to show as much skin as men!" she continued. The audience cheered and agreed with Charli. The news of the performance was everywhere around the internet in minutes and it brought some attention towards the movement and Charli XCX's album 'Devour My Heart'. She thanked the crowd but remained on stage, much to the delight of the crowd. "I have one more surprise for you guys," she said.

Marina was next. Marina & The Diamonds' set began with the beginning of Marina & Charli XCX's song "Damn You". Marina rose from under the stage while harmonizing "ooohs" with Charli. When Marina reached the stage, the two kicked into action until the end of the song, where they were back-to-back in the center of the stage. The instrumental of "Just Desserts" began as the two began singing the song. Charli left the stage as Marina began to sing her new single, "Happy Meal". She gave a heartfelt performance of the song and brought the crowd to tears. Although the song wasn't done, Marina jumped into her song "Where The Diamonds Grow". The performance was backed by dancers in gardener costumes, each with an individual color. When the song ended, the dancers ran off stage to change into costumes similar to the ones wore by the models in Marina's video for 'How To Be A Heart Breaker'. Near the end of the performance for HTBAHB, the dancers tore off Marina's clothes to reveal a black bra & panties. The dancers put a silver night robe on Marina and she begins to sing her feminist anthem "Sex Yeah". The performance ends with Marina blowing a kiss to the audience and walking off stage with her dancers.

After the energetic performances from both Charli and Marina, the crowd was already hyped for Rita's set. The stage lights went off and a white mist began to cover the stage. An unfamiliar instrumental began playing; heavy Jamaican beats with a light swing piano. At every four beats the lights would flash and the Jamaican drum would sound. The instrumental got louder and louder as Rita Ora made her way to the edge of the stage, freezing ever four beats. When she eventually got to the mic, she yelled to the crowd. "Can I perform something new for y'all?" To which they replied with a loud "YES." She smiled and said, "Groove me with me y'all, this one's called Blindside!". She sang over the Jamaican instrumental with upbeat swing vocals, making sure to accentuate each word. The chorus was fairly easy and she got the crowd to sing along.

She finished the song, and launched it a stripped version of "Fire Starter", the normal base now replaced with a guitar and a mallet. After she sang, "Impulse to Soar" and closed with "Losing Me". The crowd roared as she took a bow and thanked them.

Aguilera's pitiful PROSTITUTION past

Throughout her entire career, Christina Aguilera has always been incredibly comfortable with her own skin and has even directly addressed the double standards in society numerous of times (especially in terms of sexual conformity) when others wouldn’t. During the Stripped era back in 2002, this newly-found attitude played a major factor into how Aguilera was perceived by the general public; how that ultimately reflected onto her musical direction – amongst various other things. Christina’s lead single from that masterpiece of a record, the highly controversial “Dirrty”, sparked much discussion between people as to whether it was right for Aguilera to flaunt herself in such a way. The music video was inevitable banned in a lot of countries around the world after being notoriously blacklisted in the States. Nevertheless, the song still managed to become a worldwide hit and solidified its very own iconic place in pop culture history against all odds.

Then, of course, the ‘voice of our generation’ released her career-elevating signature hit self-empowerment anthem for the masses “Beautiful”. It’s still debated as to whether her over-sexualised image during the “Dirrty” era (and most of Stripped proved more significant in inciting the later incomparable success of the starkly comparative “Beautiful”. Christina’s actions during her Stripped days are forever-imitated to this day with Rihanna and Miley Cyrus being the most obvious manufactured products and guilty parties from that borderline source of inspiration.

For example, Miley Cyrus first rose to fame as Disney star Hannah Montana who had an extremely limited palette to worth with. This was very much like how Aguilera started out on the Mickey Mouse Club (with her fellow mousketeers Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Ryan Gosling etc), debuted with “Reflection” from 1998’s Disney feature-film “Mulan”, and then that developed into a ‘teeny-bopper’ look and sound for Christina’s first ever self-titled studio album. Miley Cyrus then shocked the world with an over-sexualised image of “We Can’t Stop”, followed by an appealing ballad called “Wrecking Ball”.

There are similarities being shared, which may lead people to think that “Dirrty” could have partly held responsible for “Beautiful’s” success. If Aguilera hadn’t drastically overhauled the perception of whom she was and would like to be with that star-studded female collab “Lady Marmalade” and “Dirrty”: would Beautiful have been as much of a phenomenon that it was and still is? “Beautiful” alone is enough of a good song with a great message for it to experience a lot of success although, here at the HQ, does not believe the response would’ve been as reactive without that catalyst being put in place – thus, not being as much of a significant bout of pop culture history.

So anyways, in this light of this epiphany, it has been alleged that Aguilera has dealt with a sordid past of selling her body. You may say: isn't that what her career is based on? Mind you, even though Christina may have been a little risqué at times, this high-profile revelation does not compare to the assless chaps of Xtina. All of this comes after speculation floating about on the streets that Christina had supposedly ****ed for tracks during the Stripped era and, just a few weeks ago, well-respected Jimmy Iovine accused Aguilera of being some one-trick-pony and ****-shamed the popstar. Of course, it was also met with a strong reaction from the general public especially in the Internet stratosphere.

A group formed to crack down on society's biggest mishaps and misconceptions went digging into Aguilera's personal life in order to clear her name from their bucket list. It then came to their attentive knowledge that Christina worked as a high-end prostitute. This was just before she debuted, which ultimately means that Christina was underaged. Not much is known as to whether charges shall be pressed against a pedophilia ring lawsuit, however, we do know that Aguilera shouldn't have been put in such a precarious no-way-out type situation.

This isn't the first time Aguilera has experienced exploitation (mainly by the opposite sex), which has probably why she feels so passionate about equality although that's just how she is. When she was a little girl, Christina's father who was a soldier frequently abused her mother - both mentally and physically - with there even being an incident in which Aguilera's father threw her across the stairs. Her mother witnessed young Christina, her daughter, lying in a pool of blood. That was the trigger that motivated Aguilera's mother, Shelly Kearns, to leave such a distressing situation as that. Christina Aguilera has clearly been through a lot so we feel as though we shouldn't hold this against her since everybody makes mistakes and, at the time, Aguilera really lacked the support she desperately needed and deserved.

Just a few days ago, Aguilera released her 8th studio album - "Pandora's Box". The lead single was called "Nighthawks" and experienced much reasonable success. Meanwhile, Aguilera's second single "Spitfire" is a reggae-infused track featuring female rapping vixen Azealia Banks. "Pandora's Box" in now available for purchase with "Spitfire" f/ Azealia Banks. Make sure to save up your coins! Christina has previously teased two upcoming EPs - "Truth Pill" & "True Soul", which shall be an exiting venture for the music industry. In other news, CEO of Catalyst Fall Records revealed yesterday that Ariana Grande is now signed under their position with a multi-million profit-turning contract. She will join Christina Aguilera as one of CF Records' top-billing artists. As of yet, not much is known about what this shall bring to both Ariana Grande and the revered record label. It's still an extremely exciting profit for the two parties, however.

Mariah Carey on The Voice US

Mariah Carey went on The Voice US to do a medley performance from her current Gold certified album, "The Stygian Chevalier". The performance was actually planned to be a surprise performance, but plans were changed last minute when Mariah revealed her promo tour suddenly last week. It was revealed that Mariah Carey would be singing a medley between "Libidinous Dream" and "The Stygian Chevalier". The performance was hyped by The Voice team on their website and also from the judges respectively on Twitter which is found on The Voice. People were especially interested to see whether a feud between Mariah Carey and Christina Aguilera would occur during Mariah's performance on the show and spread possible rumors on the web. Therefore, the rumors alone help draw 15 million people to stay perched on their television that night and see whether a possible feud may occur or not.

For the performance, Mariah stayed true to her 1990 roots by dressing up with a simple black dress and a wig from her assistant being frizzled up which exudes a nostalgic feeling among the audience in the studio and it was as if the "Old" Mariah came back from a time machine just to give one performance. The stage was also designed perfectly, with the band being on different levels of platforms on the stage. A large disco ball was hanged in the middle and gave the lightings a very nostalgic club feel. The LED screens show the words "Libidinous Dream" in a neon-like color and the stage was filled with fog. Holding a golden vintage microphone, Mariah started singing an acapella verse which was not found from any version of the album nor the Remix EP before the original intro of "Libidinous Dream" kicks in. She was filled with life as she walks around the stage and also say some impromptu words in between like: "Lemme see your hands up in the sky !!!" and "Clap your hands for me !!!".

The performance was at its first chorus and everyone was having fun when Mariah's performance seemingly came to an abrupt end when the stage lights suddenly blackout, leaving the audience, the judges and the host shocked that Mariah's performance may have ended prematurely on live television. A gunshot was heard after a few seconds, which made the audience anxious. After that, the lightings came back on with one of the dancers shown lying on the floor with blood everywhere which left the audience, the judges and the host gasping in shock. The fog grew even more intense as the lights turn red. A shadow then appears from the background, carrying a gun walking towards the stage. It was revealed to be Mariah when she got closer to the stage as she throws the gun away. Now wearing a black jacket-like shirt and black jeans, Mariah, looking cold as ever holds the golden microphone as the LED screen shine the words "The Stygian Chevalier" before the intro of "The Stygian Chevalier" kicks in. After the audience, judges and the host realize it was a hoax, they started cheering and screaming for joy as Mariah croons her soulful vocals on a trap-inspired beat. Highlights of the performances for "The Stygian Chevalier" includes her fighting off the bad guys while singing the chorus, singing a key higher than the original and also did an intricate dance choreography for the outro of "The Stygian Chevalier". The performance ended with fireworks shooting out from the side if the stage as Mariah gave a pose. The audience in the studio was obviously wild as the sound of the audience filled the studio.
