I have a feeling Taylor will either release the first single on August 4th or wait after The Giver release. I wouldn't be surprised if she had in mind to premiere the song at the VMAs and make it available on Itunes at 11PM that night.

Norah Jones lacked hit singles, and diamond albums back then were slightly more common than now.

Adele is a phenomenon that cannot be ignored. I don't think she's gonna go diamond again, but she's probably gonna sell a couple million with ease. It still boils down to her singles too tho.
