Okay... So, my aunt was using an app today (Pandora or something, I don't know what it was) and she was playing music on her Beats Pill through her iPhone, and she asked me what artist I wanted to listen to, and I was going to tell her Adele, but being that I have just started stanning for Amy Winehouse and had "Valerie" stuck in my head, I said her, so my aunt played her and after they played "Tears Dry On Their Own", they played Etta James' "At Last" (another one of my favorite songs) and then "Right as Rain" by Adele, and I started fangirling! It like, made my day!

Anyways... Has anyone on this base died yet from this Adele drought? God, this sucks. Where the f**k is she? This is getting ridiculous.

And also, there was a thread today posted about whether or not Sia should be the next Bond theme singer, and I said she'd be one of the few people I'd be fine with it, but I still want Adele to do it because she'd be the only one capable of topping herself, and I think the producers still want her too but she's reluctant to do it, and everyone started saying Lana Del Rey should do it. Honestly... If she does it, I am done. I know a few Daydreamers stan for her, but a few of them also despise her like I do, and I just can't imagine her doing anything different from her other songs, plus, I just can't see her topping Adele. God, I want Adele to do the next Bond theme so badly....

I don't know what's going on with her, but we really need to hear something OFFICIAL soon.

I imagine it'll still be a couple months before we hear anything though. After the VMA's, is when things start picking up for Q4.

Yeah, what really pisses me off about this wait is that she's gone into hiding and pretty much shut her fans out of her life. She doesn't post blogs or anything anymore, she Tweets like, once a month, I mean... I know she loves her fans but she never acknowledges us or anything anymore. Whenever we hear about her, she's always promoting someone else's music or at someone else's concert and it's sickening. We don't even see her in the studio or anything.

Hopefully we will get some sort of official announcement before or directly after the VMAs. Maybe she'll perform at them, but I doubt it. I'm pretty sure her comeback performance will be at the Grammys.

Although she did say it'll take a lot longer because she's going to be more involved in the production and whatnot:

It won't be a big production. I want it to be quite acoustic and piano-led. I want to write it all, record it all, produce it all and master it on my own. I think it'll take a lot longer because I want to do it this way.
