Yeah, I'm pretty sure Gaga will not be resigning with Interscope.

It's likely she'll go independent tbh, or start her own label under Artist Nation, but you can bet every record label in existence is going to be trying to get her once she's a free agent. I mean, she's prime real estate right now. Still hugely profitable, one of the biggest brands in the world, and ready for a big comeback. What record label wouldn't want to be the one to "turn around" Lady Gaga?

Honestly, there isn't a single bad performance of Y&I. They remain some of her best performances of all time tbh (even the VMAs)

I have been sleeping for hours so I missed your chat but let me go back to Miley Cyrus.

Miley has a deal with MTV, she's in the "Talent Strategy Program"

Which is why she got announced Artist of the Year, she got the Unplugged thing even tho MTV hasn't done an unplugged show for years. Also the reason why she got 2 spots in the show (her own performance and the one with Thicke). Now I don't know if that has anything to do with Gaga being denied to do her performance to make sure she wont steal the thunder but the rest is true. So there ya go, some tea for this morning.

After watching those performances a couple times, I think what I want most out of a new era is more songs done with rock producers like Mutt Lange, Rick Rubin, maybe even if she collaborated with Judas Priest (they're friendly I think)

Y&I was really one of her best era, imo. The aesthetics and visuals were spot on, and although most people will say the video and era were messy for incorporation what she had planned to do for TEOG, I really thought she pulled it off brilliantly and professionally. If it hadn't been leaked that the mermaids were supposed to be a part of TEOG era, no one would've known otherwise.

The exact opposite of the DWUW/Venus era.

Tbh, BTW amazes me for how well-organized and carry out each sub-era was. Whereas The Fame and (especially) TFM each felt more like one complete era, BTW felt like 5 unique eras under the umbrella of one bigger era, and I loved that about it. The ARTPOP era had no consistency whatsoever. Ugh, the faster we get past this, the better. C2C better get her back on track.
