Charli XCX is in japan right now for her tour the Tokyo Lights World Tour which she debuted today with the first date being at Japan's Tokyo Dome date. She also passed by the Sukkiri studios to record a performance which was later on aired. Wearing the red and white outfit from the 'SuperLove' music video, she performed 'SuperLove' along with two dancers.
"When I released that songs, people barely knew who I was... Now I'm everywhere, I'd like to thank so many people for that but most of all my angels, I love them" said Charli right before starting to sing. During the last part of the song, Charli XCX did a small dance choreography with her dancers.
She then sang 'Tokyo Lights' the second Promo single from her new album 'Devour My heart'. She just did a few moves in front of her led microphone. She Impressed with the crowd with some amazing vocals and no background vocals. The 2 dancers kept on dancing around her.
The final performance was the performance of 'Alone in the Dark'. It was a recreation of the performance on American Idol last week. Charli danced and jumped all around the stage with smoke everywhere while dancers appeared in the background. in the center then on the left then on the right and started fighting.
She then sat down for an interview where she discussed topics such as the new album 'Devour My Heart', her singles, music today, movies, her love life and more.

Pia Mia signs with Republic, releases new single "Stubborn Love"
Producer: DJ Mustard
Written by: Pia Mia Perez, Sean Henriques, Troy Rami, Dijon McFarlane
Today, Republic Records announced that they've signed a Guam-born singer, songwriter and model Pia Mia Perez, who releases music under her shorter stage name - Pia Mia. Republic Records already have one R&B rhythmic singer under their belt - Zendaya, who has already scored a number one single one week ago. A lot of people started speculating that Republic Records signed Pia Mia as well, right after Zendaya talked about her and their collaboration on those few interviews that she did over these two weeks. Although there's no official word on why Pia Mia has decided to leave her previous label - Interscope, but a lot of insiders are telling that she and Interscope had some kind of fight and complications over few things, that will probably be announced sometime soon, since Interscope hasn't made any kind of announcement on that, they just removed her from the roster on their webpage. Pia Mia has already finished recording her debut album, which is scheduled for late July/early August release, according to Republic's CEO. After the press statement was already on RepublicRecords.com, they also put Pia's new single, titled "Stubborn Love", on iTunes. At first, the single didn't receive a lot of attention, but within next few hours, when Americans woke up, "Stubborn Love" made a significant jump on those iTunes charts and jumped about eighty places higher, and entered Top 20. People are predicting that this single will probably rise even more on charts, if Republic Records and Pia Mia will play their cards with that promotion and marketing right. There's still no word on how Pia's promotion plan will look this week, but Republic is known for booking a lot of great places for their artists, and sometimes even doing too much with promotion tours, but Zendaya's number one single "Gunshots" proved that those huge promotion tours actually pays off, since Z's single debuted at number and sold over 600,000 copies in its first week on those charts. And that is actually huge.
CEO of Republic Records: "We can finally confirm that after a lot of paper work, we've finally signed upcoming singer Pia Mia onto our label! Pia is such an unique and multi-talented singer, and we believe that she will actually succeed with her material, which is amazing so far, we are predicting a great future for her as an recording artist. We've had some trouble buying her songs copyrights from Interscope, since more than a half of her album was recorded under their label, but we've successfully bought them and now we're happy to release Pia's album. Pia has worked with several amazing producers on this album, and it is shaping up to be one of the most successful rhythmic pop albums this year. While Pia's fanbase, Wolfpack Kingdom, is still waiting for that album to come out, we're happy to present Pia's official debut single, which is also the lead single, called "Stubborn Love", which is also now available to purchase on iTunes! It's amazing that this song is already getting some attention, and we're hoping it will receive more of it, because Pia has a long week of promoting ahead of her. She will be visiting a lot of great TV shows, she will be visiting several radio stations, doing interviews - Pia will be all over the place."
Pia also commented on her announcemet: "I'm really happy that all of this is happening. I've been waiting my whole life to start my music career, and I'm happy to do that under Republic wing. They have already proved that they know how to take care of their artists - few weeks ago, Zendaya scored her first number one with "Gunshots", and that's because Republic took care of it by promoting and marketing it. So, I'm definitely trusting them and I'm letting them to handle my career, hoping everything will turn out great. As CEO of Republic mentioned before, my new album is already finished, and it was finished some time ago, but a lot of things happened, and you will find out what was actually happening pretty soon, but for now - let's focus on great things! My album is finished, and it's coming out later this month. Also, I have a new single out, the single is called "Stubborn Love", and it's basically about a person having feelings to someone, but not showing them at all. It's a really personal and meaningful song for me, and I'm happy that it will be representing my upcoming debut album. I'm really proud of this song and how good it ended up being. It was produced by DJ Mustard, and written by me, Sean Henriques, Troy Rami and Mustard himself."

Ellie Goulding on American Idol (300+)
Ellie Goulding recently come onto American Idol to sing an extended, acoustic and remixed
version of her single Asleep, which is available on iTunes. We went backstage to ask
Ellie a few questions before the performance...
Q: Are you nervous about this performance?
A: Yeah maybe a bit. The choreography is pretty complicated and I've never done this type
of performance for this song. It's a great idea though, to mix three different versions
of the song. But I think it will be fun.
Q: Will you be changing outfits during the performance?
A: No I just take off my jacket after the chorus. I might throw it into the crown so one of
my fans can catch it
Q: Where are you going to preform after this?
A: I've got a few things book like The X Factor, Ellie, a charity concert and Radio 1 Live Lounge.
Interviewer: Good luck out there Ellie
Ellie: Thanks
Ellie sat on a stool with an acoustic guitar in her hand. She started playing it but stopped
when the chorus ended. She got off the stool and threw it back. She took her jacket off,
threw it at the audience and five dancers came onto the stage and Ellie performed some
choreography. She sang the 3rd chorus from the extended version of Asleep live for the first time.
The final chorus switched to the R3hab remix with energetic dancing. Glitter fell from the ceiling
and flames were coming from the ground. Three new dancers came onto the stage with sticks that
were on fire. They threw them around the stage and did some tricks. The audience sang along at
the end. Ellie bowed and everyone clapped. You can buy all three versions of Asleep on iTunes!

I'd love to have Charli do it, but she's in Japan on July 15th and she's in the US on July 20th, London would have been the perfect date since Rita is also opening for charli there but it's taken by Marina

BILLBOARD REVIEWS KO-MOTION

Natalia Kills hardly sets herself up for success on her LP, Ko-Motion, out today, July 13 on Phunk Records. In the roaring opening, she declares, “I’m Ko-Motion!” ad infinitum; on the clattering single“Problem,” she sings, “You know what they say about me — that girl is a problem”; on the dark, leering “Rabbit Hole,” she warns, “We’re the kids your mama warned you about.” Subtlety isn’t the end game here.
It’s not a coincidence that she’s playing this up on Ko-Motion, since there was never a shot of her being seen as a good girl. Dark pop is Kills’ thing, and has been since the jump-off, but it didn’t always land on her jumbled debut, 2011′s Perfectionist, which had killer hooks (see the chorus on “Mirrors” for more) but invited too many unfavorable comparisons to her contemporaries.
That’s why it’s such a sheer delight to hear Kills firmly in her own lane on her sophomore LP, which feels like a better representation of her perspective than even the best moments of Perfectionist. It’s not affected, low on posturing, and there are moments of vulnerability that gleam like the very best lyrical storytelling. Ko-Motion is a great pop record, straight up.
The magic here is twofold: Kills has grown as a songwriter, now mining her experiences (in particular, her tortured past) with a richness and authenticity that didn’t always ring true on her debut; meanwhile, executive production courtesy of Jeff Bhasker, who produced a handful of tracks on Perfectionist (including the gloomy dirge “Zombie”) and has worked with artists as diverse as fun., Kanye West, Taylor Swift and Beyonce lends the record a welcome cohesion. (Lana Del Rey producer Emile Haynie also drops by for a few songs.)
Ironically, the two tracks that kicked off the Ko-Motion era — “War,Lies,Love,Money” and “Stop Me” — are probably two of the weaker on the record, clattering and showy in a way that doesn’t align entirely with the more organic sound throughout. They work well as transitional pieces moving away from the electro vibe of the Perfectionist era, but here they’re not as strong as the other possibilities. The still-amazing “Rainy Days“ is (I’d argue) the best song of Kills’ career, as evocative a paean to adolescent madness as any.
“Rabbit Hole” is sinister, skipping the hyperbole of a song like “Kill My Boyfriend” for something truer and therefore darker: “Cause I eat boys like a cannibal / **** hard, howl at the moon like an animal / Eat me, drink me, straight down the rabbit hole / White lines, white lines, straight down the rabbit hole,” she sings over Bhasker’s skittering beat. Similarly, the euphoric hook of “Savages” betrays what a gloomy song it really is: “Nicotine and low life dreams / Have never felt so worn,” she groans.
“Marlboro Lights” is by a mile her best ballad, an old-fashioned piano number that’s achingly sincere, while “Devils Don’t Fly” builds up the production a little bit more but is no less affecting. (It’s hard not to feel something about a lyric as conceptually sharp as, “Everyone that holds my hand gets cut from all the thorns.” Yikes.)
There’s more instantly likable moments here, too: “Burn Out” is perfectly solid throwback ’60s girl-group swag, while “Rich Girl” is effortlessly catchy, sampling Hall & Oates to ingenious effect and laying it over a stomping beat. Not every song is as memorable as those, but it doesn’t matter. On Ko-Motion, for the first time, she sincerely kills it.

IDOLATOR REVIEWS KO-MOTION

Finally, at long last, Natalia Kills’ new album Ko-Motion is on the horizon! I’ve just had an advance listen to the album and my oh my did Natalia revamp her sound. I always find it a bit difficult to review music from one of my favorite artists, so I’ll do my best to not spontaneously fanboy during this one. Before giving this album a listen I definitely lowered my expectations a bit. While I absolutely loved Kills’ first album Perfectionist, it was not without its flaws. Perfectionist, while still a great album, suffered a bit from Natalia trying a little too hard to convey her dark pop princess image and falling a bit flat. So when I heard Ko-Motion was up that same alley, I got a bit worried. Thankfully, though, my concerns have been vanquished. Let’s break it down, shall we?
The album opens with Savages, which has about a minute and a half intro sewn into it that really sets the tone for the album. It’s a dark, dramatic intro that would fit seamlessly into a movie trailer (it’s a good thing). The track kicks it into high gear with some banging drums and a slick guitar riff. Savages is a superb opening track; it’s got a fun, driving beat and doesn’t take itself too seriously. Since we’ve all heard Problem and we all love it (right?), I won’t spend time talking about it, other than to say that it fits nicely as the second song on the album. Stop Me, is by far my favorite track on the album. It’s a sleek, sexy track that pounds along with some amazing drums (imagine Natalia reworking Superficial from Perfectionist and making it about 5 times better). With lyrics like “I put my high heels on so I’m closer to God,” how could you possibly go wrong? It’s simply a perfect song.
Ko-Motion continues on with Rainy Days, which is a fun bopper of a song laced with some sexy guitar (pop music needs more guitars). While I wouldn’t necessarily call it a highlight of the album, it chugs along with a fun, lighthearted energy, which is pretty infectious. Cheap Wine is probably the happiest sounding song on the album. While the lyrics aren’t exactly happy, bubblegum pop (this is Natalia Kills, after all…), the song’s chorus sounds like it was pulled from an R-rated Disney cartoon (again, it’s a good thing). Ultimately, it’s a super fun song that will definitely have you dancing. We all already know how wonderful Cosmic is, so I don’t need to expand upon it. It’s one of the best song’s she’s ever made, and that’s that.
The album slows down a bit with Devils Don’t Fly, a slow, emotional, electro track with a chilling chorus and haunting lyrics. It’s without a doubt one of the deeper, more serious tracks on the album and definitely a standout track. Burn Out follows next, but it ultimately just feels like a filler song with a 50s vibe. It certainly isn’t bad, and Natalia shows off her vocal range nicely, but the song just fails to really take off. Although it’s been out for a while, I still can’t say enough good things about Controversy. It’s a prime, pounding, provokative, piece of pop, and quite frankly it should have been a single. And while it’s a fun reference, I could have done without all the yelling about Kool-Aid.
Rabbit Hole is probably the dirtiest, most fun song on Ko-Motion and I can’t get enough of it. It’s almost as if Natalia challenged herself to write the dirtiest, most Ke$ha-like lyrics she could (and don’t let that comparison scare you away!). Mix all that in with a little glitch music and a fun dance beat and you’ve got one hell of a track! Watching You is a decent track with a chorus that once again shows off Natalia’s vocal range, but it ultimately sounds like a cut from Perfectionist. Marlboro Lights, the only actual ballad on the album, is an absolute homerun. It’s a stripped down piano song and Natalia is at her most vulnerable. It’s a touching song that reminds you just how beautiful her voice is. More ballads please, Natalia. War, Lies, Love, Money ,the single, closes off the album in the best way imaginable. It’s a drum-heavy track with a stadium rock feel to it. The song is about exactly what you think: Ms. Kills telling us that about society as she sees it, and it works spectacularly. A great way to finish off a great album.
The best part about Ko-Motion is how authentic Natalia comes across during the whole album. While I thought she tried too hard to get her bad girl image across on Perfectionist, she absolutely hit it out of the park with Ko-Motion. If you’re like me and had your share of reservations about the album, feel free to take a deep breath and relax, because Ko-Motion is a phenomenal album that truly deserves to be at the top of the charts. So get ready, kids! Ko-Motion is out now and it’s taking no prisoners!
KO-MOTION: 9/10
