I really agree. I don't make a habit of judging users other than moderating individual posts, but it's unnerving how some people go so far in their pop hate. However, one should realize that often some hate is, in itself, a joke by the member and they're not actually investing time into hating a pop star.

Perhaps you would be more inclined to recognize the "abrasive" category as it is also appropriate for that post, but I'm betting that it was for shading a member. That's not allowed in SYG, even if your shade was comparatively lighter than some of the drags we've seen before. No personal arguments at all in there.
