get ready for the promo...
and see if your artist was mentioned in the interview...
Ellie Goulding talks about new album/single, inspirations, movies... in anonymous interview (600+)

Ellie Goulding was interviewed by an anonymous interviewer yesterday. The interview was posted
on Ellie Goulding's official website today.
Q: What's the theme of your new album?
A: It's really a mix of lots of different themes and genres. I have a few fun party songs,
some love and breakup songs and some ballads. It's mainly indie-pop but there are a few
experimental songs. I wrote some of it while I was on tour and finished it when i went
on vacation to Australia. I'll be revealing some details soon but all I can say is that
two songs are produced by Zedd. I worked with him in the past and I think he's a great producer.
Q: Who was your inspiration for this album?
A: I've been listening to a lot of old albums by Whitney Houston, Celine Dion and Mariah Carey
so a lot of their songs inspired me.
Q: Are you a big fan of these artists?
A: Yes definitely. They were my favorite artists growing up. I still love them now. I was really
sad when Whitney passed, I listened to all her old albums for days after I heard the news. I bought
Celine and Mariah's newest albums.
Q: What are your favorite songs released this year?
A: I love Rita Ora's new single Losing Me, Charli XCX's Alone In The Dark, Kesha's Beautiful Mess
and Bonnie McKee's Smile. Bonnie co-wrote Under Control with me for Halcyon Days. I'm happy that
she's finally successful.
Q: Tell me a bit about your new single Asleep.
A: I wrote it by myself, most of the songs on the album are co-written by me. It was produced by
Jim Eliot and Greg Kurstin. It's an uplifting song with a fun, upbeat chorus. The music video was shot
in a mansion and will be released on Wednesday. The song comes out in just over a day and I can't
wait for everyone to hear it.
Q: What are your favorite actors/actresses?
A: One of them would have to be Jim Parsons. He plays Sheldon in The Big Bang Theory which is my favorite
show! Another would be James Franco. His role in 127 Hours was breathtaking. The producer of Skeleton (
#WatchIt@9OnTuesdayOnCBS) said he'd give James Franco a call to ask him if he wants to play in a few
episodes of the show. I have too many favorite actresses to name them all out now
Q: What upcoming movies are you excited for?
A: I can't wait to see Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes. I loved the first one and I'm going to see this one
in a few days. The Purge: Anarchy looks pretty good. I didn't like the first, it could have been much better
but this one looks good.
Q: Why did your last era end so quickly?
A: Oh I guess I never really explained that. Unknown Records were slowly going bankrupt so they decided to
end our contract and shut down. I quickly signed onto Cayman Records but they only started and didn't have
enough money to promote me. The era pretty much ended there, I finished up my tour and took some time off.
Q: Will this era be as controversial as the last one?
A: I don't think so, I don't regret the things I did in the past but I won't go back to doing it again.
The music videos will be less explicit and the album will be much happier with a more positive message.
The interviewer made the most of those 9 questions and Ellie's answers made this an interesting read. Some
details about the new single and album were revealed and Ellie told us a bit about her interests. The new single
Asleep comes out in the few hours but you can pre-order it on iTunes now!

Charli XCX performs on Good Morning America
The 21 years old (nearly 22) British alternative-pop singer Charli XCX perofrmed on Good Morning America as part of the promotion for her single 'Alone in The Dark' as well as her new album which is coming out on Monday 14th of july, 'Devour My Heart'. Before sitting down for the interview, Charli XCX, wearing a The Blonds golden outfit, performed in the middle of times square for hundreds of people and the performance was broadcasted live. "Live with us right now is the British singer, Charli XCX, with her hit single, Alone in the Dark!" said the host excitedly before leaving the stage to Charli. Charli started the performance from the chorus. while she sang energetically, some black and yellow/golden smoke started appearing all around her. She was standing in front of a led Microphone stand which was projecting some colors. Instead of ending the song the way it usually is, Charli extended it and danced to a remixed version of the song before singing the chorus again. After it, Brooke Candy appeared on stage with long blond and black hair while wearing short jeans with a black crop top where '#HuntingSeason' is written in reference to the music video of the remix version of 'Alone in the Dark'. Brooke sang a mix of her verses on the song before Charli started singing the chorus for the last time. After a small commercial break, where Charli changed to a outfit composed of a glitter jacket with black leggings and Pink cobra boots. she sang the album track 'Tokyo Lights' which is rumored to be the next single from the album and which is also Charli XCX's favorite song from the album. The performance was kept simple and Charli did her own simple choreography. The final performance was the performance of 'Wasted (Taste It)' another track from 'Devour My Heart'. She kept the outfit from 'Tokyo Lights' for this performance and two dancers joined Charli on stage. Charli and the dancers made a more specific choreography than the one used in the two first performances. After the three performances, Charli sat down wearing a Chanel outfit with boots for the interview.
You're album is going to be released tomorrow, how do you feel about that? are you excited?
I'm excited, I just can't wait! I've been waiting for this moment for months now!
What's your biggest fear concerning it right now?
I'm scared that I might never be able to do something as amazing as it is
Youve already said that Tokyo Lights, the second song you performed for us today, is your favorite song on the album. Why is it?
It's kind of a personal song, about a moment that I will cherish forever really. It's also the second song that I worked on right after SuperLove. I wrote it right after I finished SuperLove and both of those influenced the whole album.
You're flying all the way to Japan tomorrow to perform on the first date of the Tokyo Lights World Tour, Can you tell us more about it?
It's my first my first major tour, and it's already a stadium tour! The first date is in Tokyo, since the Tour and a name from the album is named after it. I've already revealed the stage a few days ago. All songs from the album are going to be performed as well as most of the songs from 'True Romance'.
You've announced dates in Japan, UK and the US. 10 dates in total were announced, will you announce more dates?
Yes, that's for sure. The tour is already selling extremely well and loads of people are coming to see the show. I can't wait to perform for all of them!

Lady Gaga spotted at LAX in Disney Princess jeans, allegedly filming music video
Lady Gaga landed in Los Angeles this morning in some amazing Disney princess decorated jeans. Gaga's next album most likely to be named "DECAY" is said to be very Disney inspired. She is allegedly in Los Angeles to film a music video on the Hollywood Hills. Rumours are swirling that the "Applause" singer will be filming several music videos similar to what fellow "Telephone" chanteuse did last year for her self-titled "visual album". Only time will tell, as DECAY is set to drop in the upcoming weeks!
Gaga is featured on Zedd's new track, Temple which is available on iTunes.
