I agree, it was too much and way too early. The videos have generated so much negative buzz, especially Get Her Back.
Have you listened to the album? It's not nearly as remorseful as he implies it is.
There's a song (obviously about Paula) where he says that she's the kind of woman who would fake a suicide attempt and he calls her a "spoiled little rich kid."
Easily his worst record.
